Will this player be plagued by poor isolation? The r6pro was plagued with Rf noise... Don't see why they can't Isolate the components... It made the player poop ibasso has the same problems, it's common in Chinese daps

That is quite strange... the RF noise that you are picking. I dont have such a problem at all.
Fisrt - do RF check to all your surrounding, maybe you have interfearance from othe rdevices.
Second - chaeck if it is not your cable (IEM or HP) that picking than noise?
Third - check your Phone SAR ratings on GSM Arena - some has more and some lower values.

Wrap a ferrite core around your dap. XD

I only noticed it if I put my R6 Pro a few inches distance from my phone. That is the only scenario for me.

But yeah of they will shield better, because the 4g modules needs to be inside.

I just read in our local forum that a guy had a similar problem... and he put his DAP in a microwave for 15 second max heat and it solved the problem !!
He stopped hearing any interferance .... well maybe he stop hear anything at all

It has NOTHING to do with the chip number... it is all about the implementation and the architecture around the chip, voltage , current , the righ path and the software!!
I have here another DAP/DAC that use the same chip and it sounds even close to my Mosaic UV R2R and way batter than ANY DAP.

Yeah, I am eyeing that thing for myself. The Chord hugo 2 tabletop is giving it the stink eye in the background.

Do they feel like a similar tier product?
