So after about a month of use the leather case on my R6 is already falling apart. The part over the volume knob sticks out past the knob a tiny bit and that's right where the leather has developed a crack.

Well that stinks. I hope mine lasts longer than that. It really does look like quality leather .

I'm a bit surprised by it too, the leather does seem decent but I guess it's too stiff or something, maybe too dry. I've ordered a third party case from AliExpress that should arrive in about a month.

No but you could try a rebuilding it from scratch while plugged in.

With the R6 disconnected how long do you press the power button for? Try longer maybe? Perhaps a factory reset is needed?

You may want to go to AKP Pure , connect the R6 to your computer and download an older version of Amazon HD . Don’t know if this will work , but it’s certainly worth a try .

I have Amazon HD on every single Android device I have and Hiby is the only one that does not work. I found it does not play unless it is on lock screen. It is very strange.

Believe it or not but after turn off screen play from the lock screen then log back in and it works now. Very strange.

30 seconds at least. (My old R6=6 sec.) I did a factory reset as well.

Does it only not start up if not plugged in, or does it switch off immediately if unplugged?

To your question, it does not start up at all--black screen.

Probably would help to check the battery level when it's on. What Joe is asking is, when it's plugged in and on, if it immediately goes black when unplugged?
