I'll post the logs later if you interested.
I didn't catch any of random reboots in whole evening, playing Tidal tracks, scrolling playlists and switching to play the files from microSD.
I noticed thought the http client (thread) (that starts from Tidal tap or online radio station tap) haven't stop and continue works in background until I starts playing the track from microSD card or turn off WiFi. Sometimes that http client does a lot of pending requests and it makes user interface freezes - the only thing that available from GUI is switch off WiFi from sliding menu. Moreover there is no "stop" button anywhere in the player interface, just "pause".
The most of UI lags and freezes are related to 'SQLite 3' database requests and showing album covers. Offline plays from microSD uses 'usrlocal_media.db' in internal memory. Tidal client uses '.tidal/tidal.db' in the microSD for storing/reading album covers.
Other GUI resource related lags can be reduced with optimization of theme *.png files and system fonts, like in custom firmwares https://www.head-fi.org/threads/the...pro-on-sale-now.872288/page-400#post-15300999
Do you recommend installing this custom firmware for faster performance on the Hiby R3?

I'm going to read the thread after the custom firmware was posted. Hopefully it solves my never ending issues with freezing when opening up artist.

I have only R3 Pro Saber 2022. There is no custom yet for R3 Pro Saber/2022 but I'm trying to make similar firmware mod based on beta fw 2.01. Only HiBy programmers can fix valuable bugs, usually 'custom' firmware can provides minor advantages or small fixes.
Custom firmware for R3 is based on outdated 3.4 fw, 3.6 is newest for R3.

HiBy noted https://store.hiby.com/apps/help-center that some firmwares are not compatible
Firmware V1.7 - Update for R3 Pro (CS43131) & R3 Pro Saber (ES9218)
Firmware V1.9 - Update for R3 Pro Saber 2022 (ES9219), not R3 Pro & R3 Pro Saber
Firmware V2.0 - Update for R3 Pro & R3 Pro Saber & R3 Pro Saber 2022

Has anyone experience loud popping sounds with MQA files? I have not experienced any popping with my FLAC 16 bit or 24 bit.
Yes, sometimes in beginning file, sometimes on idle. Popping on idle corresponds to switching off FPGA HBC3000 in console log:
[ 1286.429644] [gpio_sw_regulator] gpio_reg_disable, regulator: GPIO_AMP_PWR
[ 1286.543787] HBC2500 power off.
[ 1286.546957] [HBC3K] hbc3000 disable

---
Finally I've catch the unexpected reboot and I fortunately capture UART console. It was a segmentation fault, the log in attach. I'm going to get more such logs and send them to support.

I've got some oversampling happening after an MQA file finishes if the next track is a FLAC I got the teal led color even if is a CD quality, this only happens when I let the MQA finished play and the next track is a normal FLAC. Is wierd and I wonder if is just my unit, this oversampling doesn't happen when I press the skip/next track button either software of hardware.

Playing MQA track from Tidal then pause it. After few seconds a soft popping sound is appeared
[ 408.500530] [gpio_sw_regulator] gpio_reg_disable, regulator: GPIO_AMP_PWR
[ 408.613354] HBC2500 power off.
[ 408.616526] [HBC3K] hbc3000 disable
Then wait about 10-20 seconds and start play. And very loud popping sound is killed your hearing. Probably this log part is related
[ 434.091108] [HBC3K] hbc2500_set_spdif_mode disable
[ 434.106255] [HBC3K] hbc3000_enabled
[ 434.111590] HBC2500 power on.
[ 434.263836] [HBC3K] hbc3000_program_ram 0
[ 434.278331] hbc3000 id code:0x900281b
[ 434.447962] user code ok:f387

Is this another Beta similar to 2.01 or an official release?
Seems like a official release, I've gotten installed on to my unit and it feels more snappy, still I got 2 major flaws my Qobuz playlists max out on 50 tracks and the oversampling issue after a MQA is played all my FLAC files are oversampled unless I press the skip button.

Got it install finally. I spent 20 minutes or so trying to find out why the update via micro sd card wasn't working then I realized I renamed the file to (2.02 update) so the Hiby couldn't find the update lmao.
