So, just used dfu tool to upgrade to 1.07, seemed successful and seemed to verify that it's 1.07 now, but Darwin filter is not an option. I see minimum phase, slow and fast options in filter section, but no Darwin.

Did you use the DFU tool to update to the file provided in the package, or did you search online using the tool? Because this update hasn't been uploaded to the cloud yet.

Got the FC6 today. Already like it. Updated to 1.07 using the DFU tool.

One thing i have seen once i got the fc6, with firmware version 1.02 I could hear a difference when moving amongst all the filters, now after 1.07 I don't hear that, not sure if there is no difference at all or I am doing something wrong.

I used the file in the package, clicked open and chose it. And yes, I rebooted as well. When I clicked check it said 1.07 version.
Ok, decided to try the flashtool and it seems to have worked correctly this time. I have Darwin Ultra now!

what about Darwin Ultra vs everything else? Also, what sample rate are you at?

Apologies for a noob move, i was trying to apply filters in NOS mode. Everything works fine
