Has anyone been able to get exclusive mode to work on the M300 with Roon Arc? I cannot get it to work?

I have read somewhere on Roon forum that Roon Arc is designed to “work with phones”, so it’ll resample to whatever the phone default is: 16/48 for most Androids, 24/192 for the M300.Has anyone been able to get exclusive mode to work on the M300 with Roon Arc? I cannot get it to work?

I think he may be referring to USB exclusive mode, where Arc can play bit-perfect via USB similar to UAPP. I don't have the M300 but it works on other DAPs.

It’s documented earlier in this thread - after you update, factory reset the device. LDAC will work afterwardSaddly not in my case, Sony created LDAC and both my Sony headphone fail to fix the problem.

Yes I have been trying to get this this to work with roons built in exclusive mode but no dice.I think he may be referring to USB exclusive mode, where Arc can play bit-perfect via USB similar to UAPP. I don't have the M300 but it works on other DAPs.
Because it was a beta update and I am not opt in. Today it updated to 1.40, which is still not version 141.... that AIMix posted. I'll assume that 141...is a beta too.How come when I check my m300 for update it tells me that 1.30_202.............. is the current version ?
Firmware 1.41-20240514-2009 is a beta firmware. I'm not getting a 1.40 update when I check, it's still telling me the beta firmware is the current version.Because it was a beta update and I am not opt in. I couldn't force it, every time I'd 'check', it said current. When turning it on today the update window appeared. I connected to a new network, my own, could that make a diff? Shouldn't.Firmware 1.41-20240514-2009 is a beta firmware. I'm not getting a 1.40 update when I check, it's still telling me the beta firmware is the current version.
I double checked my beta toggle setting is off.

Just updated (OTA) to 1.40_20240521-1829. There was also a HiBy Music update to 2.10 build 6074 (similar update for the R4).
One of the interesting changes to me is the "increment scanning" feature for new tracks. But, I can't seem to find any corresponding settings anywhere... @Joe Bloggs, any insight how this feature works?

I updated using Fastboot and it was pretty quick. Might be worth trying. Are you familiar at all with fastboot?I couldn't force it, every time I'd 'check', it said current. When turning it on today the update window appeared. I connected to a new network, my own, could that make a diff? Shouldn't.

Just FYI @Joe Bloggs FW 1.40 did not fix my UAPP volume issue.
