I did get to hear a pair yesterday though for a very short period, initial impressions were great.

Also, that update means that they left the postal facility in Richmond. I had the same thing with my Compass where it said that it was in Richmond for like 4 days, then out of nowhere it said "Out for Delivery" one morning. So it very well may come today or tomorrow or the next day :p

Man that sucks that you have to wait so long for mail. I had to goto Montreal a few years back for training. I was ripped off alot not knowing your money system. Anyway, still sucks about the shipping.

Oh, I've got them. I just don't have a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor. So I'm going to wait for the amp instead. Good news is my eCheck got sent a few days early, so optimistically I only have a week left to wait.

I really should have thought this through first

Got #550. By the way, how many of them we're produced ?

I've been listening to them for 2 hours now. So far, not really impressed. Not bad but not great.

I wasnt that impressed with them at first, they have done nothing but get better over time. Even though im sure burnin process isnt that long, i let the play all night when im not listening to them. And I listen all day at work. then again, i listen to breakbeats and drum n bass, so the bass they produce is right up my ally.

I'm a bit dispointed by the bass. I like tight and precise bass and I find the bass of the HF2 to be a bit "unfocused".

25 originals with blurry lettering and HEAD-FI. 500 with sharper lettering and HEAD-F1. 26 B-Stock similar to the 500. Numbers go 1-25, 26-525, and 550-575. So you got the first B-Stock. You lucky person!

I've heard bass is one of the first things to tighten up.

Yeah ! First of the B-Stock batch ! Great success !

By the way, I have no cam to take pictures but they are in great condition ! They look to me to be "A-"-Stock.

Got #554. In pretty good condition, there's one or two chips around the outer and inner rim of the left ear cup, and appears to be some black substance embedded into the "F" of F1 on the same cup. Outside of that spectacular condition.

Initial listening impressions are great. Out of the box they sounded a bit metallic, but after 5-10 minutes changed completely and are now fantastic, very engaging and fun, pretty balanced (not neutral, just fairly balanced), and great clarity/detail.
