well, i was going to get the Hd595, i had a 125$ or so budget and i may get to increase that budget by about 75 or so. I've been researching for weeks now and have come up with too many mixed reviews on the few sets I was going after.
so im looking for a can under $200 ( used is fine ) that fits my specifications
-warm sounding
-nice stage, but not distant needs to support pinpointing for fps
-open back and very comfy
-driven to a moderately decent level by the new cmoy 2.02 bb
( better amp will come soon but it will mostly be used via my speakers or a Cmoy bass booster, which is pretty powerful and should be fine to drive headphones to a listenable degree, surely not the best it can be but at least a decent level.
Am I looking at a used Hd600? I've owned the ultrasone Pro 750 and disliked it, It seems like the HD580 or 600 are best suited for me, but i fear their forwardness or lack there of will upset me heavily, i listen to mostly rock and want a more forward but wide soundstage, something that is enveloping.
