I have had my Alesandro MS1i's since around April and I'm looking for something a little better for movies. I'm not really sure what qualifies a good movie headphone, but I would assume good soundstage is a start. Clarity is important to me in general. Also, I don't really watch action movies, so bass (explosions and stuff) isn't as important to me as it would be for some.
 
Price range: $100-150
 
Edit: These will be run without an amp on my uDAC.

You might want to try the ATH-AD700. I owned it and the uDAC, but not together.
