So I got my dba-02 for a month and im loving it.however the fit isnt working out for me. Left side keeps coming off for some odd reason. but anyway Is there a headphone that has the same sounds as the GR07 or DBA-02.
Looking for a price of 200$ Max.
Thanks

Grado would be a good match

Some Shure do, but can't remember the difference. Reviews of the different x50 models will lead to that

Also, most IEM's are balanced so:

MDR-7509HD would be my highest pick here. Best sound for $200 and runs unamped perfect. I can't find a negative thing about this can.

Have you tried using Comply tips? They kept the B2 in my ears pretty well, which was nice, because I had the same problem.

I can't think of any headphone with the same sound as the B2 around $200. Grados have more mids and sound less refined and slower, but are close (Only tried up to SR80 though), haven't heard the Shures, and the 7509 was pretty good, but don't sound similar. I can't imagine that you'd hate them though

Well that's why I said that most IEM's try to go balanced and said the best can for moving over to fullsized in his price range.

Beyer, might be a good fit. That's just a wondering thought so don't take it seriously

FA-002, DT880, AD900 and HD598.

Tried the HD598, feel like it isnt the same and it really isn't that much portable

I'd say that DT1350 are pretty close, but brighter and less sibilant, which is in fact good, improving on two main faults of GR07.
It's a closed supraaural design I think, pretty good isolation.
DT880 is pretty similar, but also brighter. Keeps GR07's sibilance if you like that part.

Senns are similarly dark, but none has that 6k boost and they tend to be warmer. (perhaps HD800 which is not as warm?) Might be that Phiaton has something with this sound signature, I've checked out one model that sounded pretty similar to unequalized GR07 (thus not what I'm looking for), but better extended upwards. Might have been PS 200. Average isolation, but didn't sound like open cans. Maybe vented.

Oh, and perhaps one of Ultrasone's models willl be a match, they also tend toward brighter than GR07 though.

LFF said that the FA-003 (or FA-002w) and DBA-02 sound very, very similar.  Both are made by Fischer.  The FA-003 is $170 and is currently out of production for a little bit while Fischer Audio is getting ready to release a revision version.
