The honeymoon period with my ÆON is essentially over. Still standing by my choice to keep it over the Eikon. If Zach ever changes his headband to something I prefer a bit more, I may have to jump ship once more. Hah. I say that — I'd own/keep both despite being a "one pair of headphones at a time" kind of guy.

Is there anything else that should be on my/our radar that's in the works/not currently on the market?

Hi, sneaking in here with a few questions!
Looking for a pair of headphones for around $320. And i have three headphones that i think look interesting:

* philips fidelio l2 (current price ~ $239)
* Marshall Monitor BT (current price ~ $200)
* Sennheiser momentum 2.0 (current price ~$370) a bit over the budget perhaps, but have considered them.

Which one would you guys pick? Have any other suggestions on headphones?
Thanks!

+1

They really, really are. They have a rich, somewhat detailed presentation with plenty, but not too much, bass. Highs are non-fatiguing. They are as close to the balance of my speaker rig as I have heard.

Probably most uneducated guy here, but I can only recommend as well the Meze 99 Classics. Got them a week ago and fell in love with them. Here I wrote briefly about them https://www.head-fi.org/threads/looking-for-new-headphones-top-350-euros.857739/#post-13682905

I think he ended up getting impatient and pulled the trigger on Fidelio X2s,which are fine headphones for trance,pop and most other bass intensive genres,movies and gaming as well,but in my experience not great for metal due to slightly recessed mids. Just my opinion and hope The Naa is happy with them.
