Hello!
I looking for new headphones for my PC and Phone.
The things i want on them is
-Over Ear

-Good bass, dont need to be so "clear/clean". More like a massive bass.
- Can be used without Amp:s when i use my phone.
- Budget round 250-300$ for the Headphones and the AMP.

Did first look at Denon D2000 did see Denon will releas new phones in 1-3 months. So was first think to wait till it but now i REALLY want new Headphones...
So did begin to look at M50 or sony XB1000, but they need a AMP for gain a lot of bass?
So have look at Sony XB700/500 and a Fiio E17/E7 or a E11/10? Or can a E6 give them all the power they need?
Or is a M50+ a E7 good?
Pleas help...

Listening mostely on hardstyle and so..

Well, Electronic music is not all about just bass. I would recommend the Sony XB1000's instead. They have plenty of bass, but not to the excessive point that the 500's do. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I own a pair of 500's, but they are best for dubstep. For electronic and house music, the XB1000's would be my first choice. $220 for the phones, $80 for an amp (FiiO E7) $300. That's my opinion for you, man. Good luck finding the perfect pair of headphones for yourself.

Hi there. If you're looking for massive and boomy bass, go for the MDR-XB700

If you want just massive, extended, controlled bass, go for the xb1000s.

I use the 700s paired with Fiio E11.

I'd say, nothing beats the boomy bass of these~!

How is the XB700 when you listening on rock and so?

Was in a shop and tryed the XB1000 and 700 and 500 today!
And the 500 didt i like, and the 700 was nice, and 1000 was lovelt. But i wounder if its wort the extra 200$? (Did just listening to hardstyle from the IPhone)

And i Will buy new in-ear for round 80-130$. With nice bass and sitt good in the ear becuase i Will have them when im training(running, gym) mic and so Would be nice to!

I think E11s would be fine with the EQ2 Bass Boost. E17 is better as a DAC/Amp combo. E11 is better as a pure amp. If you want more full/forward mids a better option is the ZO2 amp.

The Q40s have very neutral mids and highs and a enhanced, detailed bass. With the amp it really comes to life.

Ultrasones have HFI580s are not neutral but can be better for electronica. They have recessed mids and enhanced highs. The best amp for the HFI580s is the E11.

Did look on they and the onely one i can find hear in Sweden (för a good price) is the DJ1 PRO (cost round 240$) and the PRO 900 cost Nearly 500$... But love the design on them. Looks like they have much bas also. You know if the DJ1 PRO is good?

And a amp/dac for like 250$ is the ODAC + o2 the best?
