Hi, I have always come to headfi for advice on headphones and this time is no different.
 
I have previously used and currently own: HD485, AD700, A900X, AHD2000
 
My source is Schiit Modi+Magni.
 
I am looking for a pair to upgrade on my AD700's. Used for classical music mainly. Loved the AD700's soundstage, clarity, and relatively good details on mids and highs. I also love quality bass but dont need a whole lot of it.
 
I've heard good things about the DT880 600 ohms and HD 650's. Am I heading in the right direction here? Any advise would be much appreciated. Budget is below 450 usd.

I do like the sound quality of my DT880 premium 600-Ohm.
(I saved a lot  of cash buying them used)
 
Have you though about replacing the AD700 with the AD900Xs?
