I just purchased an iPod Touch, sound quite ok with my little Denon AH-C700, but I need something bigger and better for home use, have considered Denon AH-D2000, but are there other better headphones that works well with the iPod Touch, as I will use it unamped directly into the Touch.

Thanks

What are your budget and music preferences?

Aloha again, you can probably get into a set of UM2’s on that budget.  But it is not a stretch to reach for a three-way crossover design.

Pro Stage monitors  sound great, and are really sensitive they will not need the hassle an amp, when you are out and about with the iTouch.

If you are looking for headphones, ESW9 from Audio Technica is pretty good. Else Ultrasone series of headphones are a nice bet if you want portability and headphones.

There's better for portable use, that stock image doesn't tell you how wide and clumsy the Denons really are.
