Headfi vs Phamducduc thread

I also have an acc on misticriver, however, there is no FS forum so who knows..
I once got scam, called the police station on nevada because I know he lived there. They refer me to contact the buyer and showed me some lame website, tell me to fild out forms at the local police stations (basically went in a circle). In the end, they didnt "get in touch" with the guy in nevada. So much for police intervention

This guy -and scammers in general- they have to be nailed in someway , this is the only way to try prevent further frauds attempt - otherway they'll return again and again , and again on..

I would/will show no tolerance to fraud attempts.

I encourage everyone who have been in the phamphamduc illlegal affair on head-fi to leave proper feedback resumes, reports from the (multiple) buyers on how things have gone are missing

Nailing this guy will prove to be a deterant for future scammers. I know I would be scared if I saw other scammers actually be visited by police. We let this guy go and we are basically telling the world we are very vulnerable.

Well, thanks for proving me right. I was going to send this as a pm, but I also believe the best way to deal with a bully is in public, where everyone can see you for what you are.

Everytime we cross paths, you feel the need to try to attack or in some other way degrade or belittle me. This Phampham stupid sucker better not come down here. I'd get the local police after him for sure.

I have no respect for scammers. My parents were scammed out of a thousand bucks last week. I'd kill the guy who did that if I knew who he was.

heres something interesting. He stated in his for sale ad he sold some on ebay. He now has posistive feedback for one emu 1212m on his ebay profile. Maybe he only had one for sale? Looks like someone received a emu from him though. dunno

Hm. Check this out -- in that eBay transaction, which began Oct. 15, there's a log of a question that ducducpham answered Oct. 16, saying he has two:

I just want to add my 2c, and heartly second the above.

The only reason this guy did refund some of the money is because a lot members got involved with their offers to help finding this culprit.

Probably he's just a kid who think he’s smarter than really is - basically he F* up the whole thing; but he’ll learn from his mistake and next time will make sure no one can track down his real name or address, etc. Once he gets away with that, there’ll be not stopping him scamming the net given half a chance.

He didn’t commit a felony, but he needs to learn a lesson, he needs to get his a** busted so next time he may think twice before doing it again. To all involved, if there is way to take this further that is not too bothersome to you, please just do it.

He must have sold more than one because it says "Quantity: 0". You can only get quantity 0 if you have more than 1 buy it now items so you can specify the amount that are listed. Buy it now with one item would not have the word quantity.

I retract all I said Alex,

As I say I PM'ed the guy for his take on this and my opinion now is that he is a cocky little **** ant....... I wouldn't go as far as describing him as a con man as you've got to be quite clued up and worldly wise to be a con man.

He's a young guy who's bitten of more than he can chew..... maybe he didn't intentionally set out to rip people off but , whatever the scenario, he's now in a deep hole and only he can get himself out of that hole.
