It seems like some would be tempted to buy the Power even for low(ish) impedance, high to moderately sensitive headphones / IEMs, but I think that would be rather silly. I'd be worried that the Power's usable range of volume with those would be too narrow. Justin offers 3 portable amps to choose from for a reason.
Also, I'd just like to say that his amps are rather sexy

The amps look/feel even better in person.  And the Power comes with a 3-position gain switch.

Nice capacity there, but they are 8.4V batteries. Not sure what effect that would have. I vaguely recall Justin suggesting suitable batteries to use. Would be good to hear what he recommends.

The packaging for the Pico Power has arrived, one step closer to shipping...

Here are some weights for those who are interested:

Amp w/out batteries: 3.9oz
Leather case: 1.0oz
2x Li-ion batteries: 2.oz
2x 300mah NIMH batteries: 3.8oz

It appears that the amplifier is equipped with a pair of rechargeable batteries. The photo shows the IP9V520

Thanks. I'd forgotten about that post. That makes me eager to find out about what kind of charger will be included or required.
