Well, understand that I am not condoning poor communication from a vendor or poor customer service. Just know that many of us have been in the same boat and Justin has always come through with a great product.

I suspect the problem is less the amount of work that he has to do building and shipping the amps than it is the amount of PMs and other messages he gets flooded with by impatient people or people wanting to change their order or whatnot. Those kinds of things alone massively slow down any kind of operation like this.

All pico orders prior to April 9 have been completed; after April 9, ALL orders have been in Black, and this has caused problems with my inventory as I am already waiting for the next shipment of enclosures. Changing the color to anything other than black will help get it done faster

I didn't intend to announce this until all Pico Slims had shipped, but as communication could become more difficult in the future, here it is. When I had the custom leather case made for the Pico Slim, I also had one made for the regular Pico Amp/DAC/DAC-Amp.

They have been sitting here for months so might as well post about it now...

A lot better than the leather bag that comes with the Pico. That leather bag will continue to be included with the Pico, this case will be an extra item

i was not happy about pico being slightly smaller than cowon d2 (yes i know, a stupid complaint). with this case, the size of the bundle will be so perfect!

Just received my bronze Pico a couple days ago. Having to wait 2 months wasn't fun but now that I have it its pretty sweet. I've got to say that new case looks pretty sweet! Can't wait to pick one up

Hi Justin, I like to place an order of the pico amp + upsampling dac. I do have a few questions about them though:
 
1. does the product come with the usb cable?
2. I run Ubuntu 9.10 on a linux 64x laptop. Do you know much about the compatibility between that and the dac/amp?
3. Can it easily drive the akg 702?
