Quick suggestion to those considering a pico without the DAC...

From what I've read previously, and I have to agree, the DAC is where it's at. It's a very innovative implementation and the sound it produces is fantastic. Unless you already own a high-end stand-alone DAC, I think it's an option worth giving some serious consideration.

Last report he's shipped up to 180 and is now about to ship the next 18 units (not all people pay so figure that into your guestimates). Don't go by the preorder list, it's not updated.
