Because of those review´s i had to buy a FURMAN Power conditioner to see if there will be any beneft.
….
But really -- (maybe it´s our german power system) there is no, absolutely no different in sound.

Interesting.  Have you run a dedicated line for your BHSE system from your "fuse box"?  Do you listen during peak usage hours?

Back from Highend Munich.
Was nice as always including a special Parking slot at the main entrance, how cool was that!

saw some Head-fi heroes in person.
and spend some time withe the dharma and Hifiman he1000 (which was very impressive to me)

@ Statfi

No dedicated line for the BHSE. Standard electricity connections but i was thinking about to experiment about that.
Some times i listen during peak usage hours with the STAX, mostly with the M-Logans.
The Furman is a lot noisier during Daytime as it is almost quiet at night, so there is a difference in current delivery.

I usually prefer the Stax at nighttime, not to disturb other people in my house and/or the main reason is that it´s dead quiet all around. I´m a low level listener so this makes sense to me.

Until now i recognised no electrical interference with my MacbookPro--D-02 DAC--BHSE--009 at anytime, night or day.

I have 15 bhse's going out this week. Please hold any questions until these go out, which starts tomorrow.

these have shipped, and next week i am working on shipping some GS-X mk2 amps. here is the latest BHSE update:

- On the current batch, there's just a few (about 3) that have been paid for in full and not yet shipped. I will get those out next.
- After that i will still have several BHSEs remaining that i can ship. I will be sending requests for payment to people whose orders match the color/specs of the amps that are available.
- Assembly has been underway on the next batch. Things are coming along well. This batch is about 90% reserved.

unlikely..the fleet is still en route to memphis. usually the tracking update will show the same time as the departure, so you'll know which plane

a photo showing some of today's assembly progress on the power supplies for the next batch of BHSEs to go out

also, for future ideas, here is a laser engraving photo. The top part of the engraving shows what happens with 1 pass of the laser to powder coating. a "stealth" marking. The white marking requires 4 to 6 passes. Who might actually like the stealth marking for something in the future? note: this only works on powdercoating. a similar effect can be achieved on black anodized panels by engraving them prior to anodizing, but this risks scratching the parts as they have to be handled/shipped more times.

Today the four Herbie HAL-O III 30 tube dampers for use with the tubes on my BHSE were delivered.

I've used them with the Mullard xf4's but before I mention whether I've found an improvement in SQ, I have to say before ordering them I was rather sceptical because I have some silicon ring tube dampers and found no improvement while using those [ which I no longer do ], however these Herbie's are something different.

I didn't think the SQ from my 009's using the BHSE/K-01 with the xf4's could get any better, but it has, everything is even more dynamic with better everything, I'd like to say more but I'm not very good at describing SQ.

For now I've only listened to The Best of OMD,  Ministry of Sound, and Rammstein, [ all from the music stored on my MacMini via the K-01's DAC ] but I can't wait to listen to the rest of my music collection.

When I first got my BHSE [ 2012 ] I was obviously using the stock Mullards, and because I wasn't that happy with how the 009's sounded driven by that amp with those tubes, I was going to sell those Earspeaker's, but I can say without doubt my 009's are going nowhere.

Thank you Richard.

The laser engraving looks really nice, seems very appropriate for a black powdercoat

Something big and heavy got delivered yesterday, I wonder what that might be?

There's this tag on the side :

It's a little busy in the week days and I don't want to rush the opening ceremony and installation so it will stay in the box until I can free up some time :).

You might think I am crazy but what's a couple of day in light of 2.5 years of waiting!

The good news is that the shipping box seems quite sturdy, the corners a just slightly worn off but nothing that would indicate bungee cord jump gone wrong...

Cheers, arnaud
