interesting thread, as i am on the same Mission: finding a worthy upgrade to my beloved k702. so i gave the hd800 and the t1 a proper listen and ehave not been impressed at all. they might be better by some degree, but nowhere near 4 times better. i decided to skip the he500 as i think the next Logical step up should be a he6. i will give them a shot soon and hope, that this time it is a complete improvement in all Areas. otherwise i will sty with the akgs even longer.
