These do not cancel noise at all except when I attach it to my Ipod and have the sound extremely loud.

Check the review for tens of other open high quality headphones. Many of these stupid idiots have said the same thing.
I want someone to find a similar review for a really high end headphone, like the HD800 or the HE-90
