Are you using Expert UI? You can find it in the settings menu.

I was not, thank you, found it now!

The only problem now is I can't get it to work with USB Audio Player Pro... V4A FX driver status shows "enabled: no, processing: no" for USB even though i have it and force USB turned on. I will have to keep messing around until I get it...

i'm just playing 44.1khz FLAC in UAPP.

I have the same problem as @vapman , except, I'm using PowerAmp Alpha on my LG V10.  Just can't get V4A to work.  I've tried all my configurations that I can think of, and it always shows that it's "Abnormal".  I am using the ESS DAC, because I have the HiFi app from phasinate.  Has anyone with the LG V10 gotten V4A to work?  Which music player, and what settings?

There is a script to enable V4A. Did you do that?

Set it at boot:

/system/xbin/supolicy --live "allow mediaserver mediaserver_tmpfs:file { read write execute };"

Okay, I'm a midlevel user when it comes to root.

Do you mean I go into the above listed file, add the line "live "allow mediaserver_tmpfs:file"  and make the file "read, write, execute"?
