Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Better grab your favorites before the next price jump.

There is zero chance I would pay an increased price due to tariffs for a variety of reasons. If the price jumps, they can rot on the shelves until someone does something about it.

So there still isn't a LDAC dongle that works well with non-Qualcomm chipsets, like Sony XM5/XM6? I assume this is still the case but wanted to ask.

The BT11 is a bit of a hot mess to use but I do get stable 990kbps with the XM6 plugged into Windows 11.

Strange, I currently have unticked everything but 990 in the app, and I get the LDAC pale blue. Maybe instead of cutting out it's just silently topping out at 660? I'm sure I'd never tell the difference anyway.

FYI the LED is meant to be White for LDAC just FiiO used a cheap LED with no RGBW (I assume) so it mixes RGB to make White but it is not pure white.

The LED's on my FiiO BTA30 PRO are blinding white even the LED for Codecs which displays multiple colours when on LDAC it is pure white and
AFAIR their Neckband is the same but I would need check if it is pure white or kind blue-ish as I do not sue it much now and normally do not see it as wearing it at the time.

Svanars are perfect headset. I don’t know about Aviot, but Rex5 doesn’t add too much in comparison to Hifiman. I’d went form Svanars straight to GeekFly L6. If you don’t need ANC, app and so on, just wireless music quality and comfort (BC make a sense BTW), then L6 is your choice. Because sometimes *soon Rex5 will be not enough too

Thanks for heads up, I placed an order. Hopefully I really like them. I think I got a smoking deal on the AZ60M2 and enjoy them enough I can hold off on scratching the Technics itch...

Sigh... said that about the AZ60M2 and promptly lost the right ear bud. The app says it's somewhere close to my home. But so far after an extensive sweep still can't find it... grumble grumble grumble...

I think that, given the market demand is still there, manufacturers will need to cut costs, and as a result, quality will suffer.

I do think for the segment of the market here, we will buy fewer IEM's and TWS.

I believe you should try it — there's nothing wrong with having a couple of top-tier TWS earbuds

I did that with the NKs 3-6 months ago and posted it on here. Good, but not great. Very very much prefer my Theiaudio Origin on my Fiio UTWS5 2025. Shot up the list to become one of my fav IEM.

Love that creative TWS idea with the Knight—form meets function in the coolest way! At \$289, it's a total steal for the performance and design. CanJams can be overwhelming, but finding gems like this makes it all worth it. Now you've got me hyped for the Amadeus—any clues on the launch price yet?
