Just a question, it may not be the right place, but how are the pixel phones for sound quality?
I have been using Pixels for several years now. Now I have the 8 Pro. The sound quality for me is superb. They obviously have LDAC and Aptx HD. As for what was written above about the complementarity with the Apps, for me they are perfect and intuitive.

Guess no one on here has tried these yet? Nuarl releasing the Inovator in red. Only 200 units limited run.

^^I know these are about SQ but 6 hours AAC/SBC @ 50% in 2025 is poor, seems to be the case for earbuds with xMEMS though I thought they were better on battery by initial claims.

You be lucky to get 2-3 hours with Lossless+ANC.

I'll be sitting at my computer and catch up on some vibe coding projects today. Keeping me company is an old school setup with the best phone for sound ever made and since I'll be completely stationary, these iems.

I re-realized a couple things:

1. Damn this phone sounds sooo good. A shame that LG exited the market but I don't blame them as only a very niche group of users would actually care about phones with a good dac and a 3.5mm jack.

2. it's been several weeks since I've put on something wired. While the gap between TWS and wired IEMs are closing, it's still not close.

Hee-hee.......the new beoplays are coming. Look they are sold out online in cooper - https://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/us/earphones/beoplay-eleven?variant=beoplay-eleven-copper-tone

And Amazon has the silver for the first time, so I suspect B&O are trying to move them.
😊 curious. But so far I am so grateful for your tip (🤓) of the Dunus S&S ear tips for the 11th. After a couple of days, I am in awe how good the sound. I will have to get used to the slightly worse comfort compared with the spinfits.
So B&O really have to come up with something special to beat this….

It is more about two amp chips one each for the Nuarl V8 dynamic and also for the xMEMs. They went that route and it hurts the battery for sure but how it turned out is probably the answer if it was worth it. If these are the best around I'm sure people will, as many "audiophiles" do, deal with more power but less hours. Needs a payoff for the high price and lower battery or it won't be worth it but Nuarl has the potential:)

Would appreciate suggestions on fit.

My wife can’t wear Apple AirPods unless she rotates the Q-tip portion parallel to the ground. I’m looking for a quality set of buds that she can use for day-to-day walking around, watching TV, etc. Music quality is less important than fit and ANC and telephone calls.

Your suggestions greatly appreciated.

I know, right?!?!?

I carry two pairs of TWS since I use them so much, and the other pair is the Rex5. and Usually, I tend to lean towards one (I had the Sony's and AZ80s before and ended up always using the AZ80s). This time, I'm having trouble deciding which one I like more.

I suppose B&O could develop better ANC that rivals Apple's and produce better sound. Wired still sounds better, and upgrade the Bluetooth (but everything I read says there is little in sound difference between 5.2 and 5.4).

There will lots of fuss on the new Sony's but know that I understand more about TWS, I really don't like Sony's sound signature much - had the last two models and sold them both.

Oh, I found a better eartip. I was going to wait to try them in my Rex5 (out for warranty repair before I post), but these are even better, at least for me in the Beoplay. Eletech Baroque - that is a link to a review. I ordered them during my round-up review, but they were on a very slow boat from China, and I just received them a couple of days ago. I think they sound a bit better. I was shocked when I tried them. And, for me, at least, the Dunus would not charge in the case, every once in a while, and these always charge. These also are not as long, so they fit a little better.

PS: watch Andor!

I'm curious. What kind of problems did you have on the Rex5?

Only when I was on calls did I experience a Bluetooth issue. The Bluetooth connection would drop for about a second or two, and then it would reconnect. It did not always happen, but it occurred a few times during a call, where it would drop and not be in my Bluetooth devices and then, show up and I reconnected. When it happened, it was approximately 5 or 6 times during a call. . Never happened with podcasts or music. Does not happen with my Beoplay. I reset network connections and then I reset up my whole phone and it still happened.

I love my RX5, but I think I got a bad transmitter or something like that. I'm also very demanding and hard on my TWS, but these were pretty new.

Ok, nothing to worry about then. Living in Europe I fear that in case of need the assistance is not so efficient. Thanks for the information.

Told you, I don’t want to go further down the tip hole!! Btw what size of the eletech would you recommend when the Dunu I use is size L. Apparently, on Ali, you have to choose one size only…..
