You all made me sound so smart yesterday for educating me about Android.

I was out grabbing drinks with some friends—your typical Silicon Valley crew, all deeply embedded in the Apple ecosystem—when the conversation turned to a spicy hypothetical: Who would buy Chrome if Google had to sell it?

We tossed around the usual suspects, but thanks to this forum, I had a curveball ready. Someone here had mentioned that Samsung now offers a lot of the seamless features Apple users love—iPhone-to-Macbook-to-iPad-style continuity. That got me thinking: if anyone could make a serious ecosystem play, it’s Samsung. Connect the phone, tablet, laptop and TV? That’s a whole vibe. Think about the power of that. I have a Samsung TV and phone, I'll get the laptop too.

And guess what? No one at the table had thought of Samsung—but once I floated it, it instantly became the most compelling answer. (Apollo, the PE firm that owns Yahoo, also has potential, but it's not as sexy. )

So, cheers to this group!
Most people default to Apple or the obvious tech giants in these hypotheticals, but bringing up Samsung’s growing ecosystem is a sharp angle—and it actually holds up. Also kind of refreshing to see someone take insights from a forum and use them to flip the script in real life. That’s the best kind of full-circle moment. Cheers to more convos like this.

I will not use Samsung so long as they do not give all the better/newer codecs (aptX HD/LDAC is the best you get) to try and get users to buy there own earbuds and proprietary codecs to get some form of "High Res"

I never did. I think maybe @erockg did though.
I did, returned them because the Ozlo buds fit me better. So far, after over a week, my family hasn't jolted me awake at night. Let's see how long that lasts. No issues with the buds. They connect fine once I did a firmware update via Google Chrome and their site. They're basically just a rebranded and upgraded version of the Bose Sleepbuds 2. I believe the original developers re-released them on their own via Kickstarter and now everywhere.

I'm enjoying the Freebuds 4 Pro. Response is like to my taste. Improvement over the 3 pro, but some may find the response not enough highs, but for me very comfy response. Imaging and sounds staged are improved with better response. I feel like Hauwei Freebuds 3 and 4 pro have very engaging sound response for a TWS.

Agree. I bought the FreeBuds Pro 4 about a month ago and was surprised how good the sound is. The ANC is sufficient too and seems to dynamically adjust really well after the latest software upgrade. The calls are the best I’ve seen.

And they don’t have significant bugs unlike some others I have….

TWS wise they are great all rounders especially if your company is addicted to Teams and/or Zoom. Relegated my Jabra Elite 10s to infrequent use.

Well, I guinea-pigged the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC. I don't have much to say yet, I have had them for a day, but not much usage time. I will say I loathe the case, it is a bad design. I guess it is strictly designed to hang from a backpack or something. The other comment I will make is that the comfort is fantastic. Also, iPhone users are fine, AAC or SBC.

Edit: There are worth 99.00 without a doubt.

I think that you can't go wrong for 99.00 for the Skullcandy. The sound is tuned fairly well. If you want heavy bass it is there in the preset eq's. The ANC is above average. Comfort is great. App is so-so, Skullcandy IQ. I haven't done a custom equipment, but on the music preset, they are fairly balanced sounding with nice clarity.
