Sorry I can’t help with that

Do the stock tips not fit? They are working for a lot of people. They did not for me (but most stock tips don't).

I wrote a lot a while back on aftermarket tips for The Rex5.
Thanks, I saw a few of your post already.

I will be receiving my Rex5 tomorrow, I simply read multiple comment saying they went with aftermarket one and was wondering if the stock tips are a necessary update ;)

I would not jump to the conclusion that you might have an issue with the stock tips. I thought the stock tips sounded just fine, but they did not fit right in my ears - but no stock tips really fit well with me, but they are working for some people.

You will love them I bet. :)

I have B&W PI7 S2. When I connect them, I get really bad garbled sound when playing anything. It's like distorted electrical noise. If you disconnect them and reconnect manually, they then work. I've factory reset and paired again, but it remains! Anybody had similar and know how to resolve it before I take them back? Thanks!

I honestly never dived in the world of aftermarket tips and always went with the stock one, only testing which size was the most comfortable... Looking at what I have at home, the only tips that might fit the 5.5mm of the Rex5 are the one I have for my L2P. Know if they'd be decent ?
It was not a matter of sq, with the stock tips, they sounded best with the stock tips. It was a matter of fit and inability to maintain a stable feel and seal with the stock tips. Then it started me down the rabbit hole, I could find tips that were stable and sealed well, but the sound was off. I eventually gave up, even if I had found the holy grail I was tired.

Same here, unfortunately. Best sound & fit - but only 50% of the times - with Eletech Baroque. Eventually returned them.

Today I received the Divinus Velvet Wide Bore and immediately put them on my Rex5. They work great! Luckily they stay on perfectly and do not slip off as I feared. I think the sound is also more open and with a fuller soundstage. I also put them on my AZ100 which already sounded great with the original tips. They work great too!

Who knew the most passive-aggressive part of your body was your ears? You spend years worrying about your waistline, and then BAM—your $400 TWS don't fit and you have to try 7 eartips to find a happy place.
I admire those who are persistent.

Normally, I don’t have fit issues with my IEMs or TWS. In most cases I get used to the tips and go on with my life.

The Sony XM5 were an outlier though.
They kept becoming loose during the day just by sitting at my desk or walking around to grab coffee. Super annoying.
They are also designed to be used with the proprietary Sony foam tips.

I tried a few other tips but they change the signature completely, not bad but ANC is taking a big hit.
I tried for a few months and moved on as I couldn’t be bothered anymore.

Also, as a matter of principle, I won’t start investing in variety of tips after shelling top dollars on brand new TWS, but that just me. Different strokes I suppose.

Super glad they worked for you. Ears are so weird; those didn't work for me at all.

The thing is with the Rex5, the right tips make a HUGE difference, much more so than other TWS, at least for me.

Yeah, I've been kinda in the same boat with my xm5.

I settled on the azla foamax for better fit/comfort for a long while but they do have less isolation/ANC performance.

I recently bit the bullet to try out the 3rd gen comply tips. They fit super comfortable and isolate better. Just wish they weren't so pricey.

If only the xm5 tips were olive shaped like the older silicone tips.

I had luck with the Azla Xelastec2 and the Sony's. Really good seal.

The other thing is I asked Chat GPT what would work with the Rex5 and it's two top picks were the two that worked. I would have never found them otherwise. Go figure.

Currently in HCMC Vietnam, popped into a couple of audio stores yesterday. Was hoping to find more of a niche headphone store, rather the two I visited, were more your consumer brand stores (Bose, Sony, JBL, SkullCandy).

Prices were still consistent with what you'd pay back home in Australia.

Oh well, guess I'm even more deaf than I thought.

Thanks for saving me the time. I’m not too far from where you at and was planning the same but I guess I’ll skip then.
