I hope Sony releases the WF1000XM6 soon, and hopefully they'll have a little Audeze flavoring. Im one of the few here they rather enjoy the XM5s.
I have the Elite over ears and Elite TWS, Sony knows what they’re doing. The amp and dsp are a great match for the Audeze drivers. This is what the isine 10/20 we’re missing. Audeze tried to compensate with the cipher cable, but this takes it to a much more portable level, if not sound too.
Although I never bought the cipher cable for my i20’s, I’m just going by what I’ve read. EQ’ing the i20 was a pain, but doable 👍

Problem with isines was the fit was a disaster. Breath or fart and you had to readjust. When everything was dialed in they were spectacular. I loved the cipher cable. Always thought EQ never could match the cable. But I'm not an EQ expert.

So, for many it may be a heresy, but I would need some advice for true wireless in-ear monitors with a built-in microphone.
The main use case would be to connect them to the PC via Bluetooth for work calls, but at the same time I would like to make a purchase that also works well in the music field.
I'm currently using this(Linsoul 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2) which I get along well with both on PC and with my TempoTecV3 (wired obv), maybe there is something similar in the same format compatible with the aforementioned DAP and that sounds good?
Budget €50-€80
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

I had the isine20 with the cable and they sounded great just looked really weird. Man, that was many years ago, I forgot I even had those.

OK, OK, Uncle! I put on the Acoustune AEX70 on my Beoplay's yesterday. They so far are pretty awesome and they fit the best. I tried a bunch that did not work,

- Spinfit Origins - sticks out to much.
- AZLA Xelastec2 - did not charge, they were too big.
- Spinfit W - sticks out too much.
- I liked the Dunu S&S, but they stick out a little

Hope that helps.

I'm starting to realize I have wide but short area where you use earbuds.

Was supposed to be a compliment 😊 Now I have tried the Dunu S&S out doors (B&O 11). The sound is absolutely great, lots of details and very distinct bass. Funnily enough, the M size fits better, but doesn’t provide the great sound as the L. So I am continuing with those. And admittedly, they sound better than the spinfits. Please, don’t lead me further down the tip-rabbit hole by suggesting new stuff🤣

Hi all, apologies for the slightly off-topic post — but I started a fun little thread on how you carry and display your gear!

There were a few older threads on this topic that fizzled out, so I thought I’d start a fresh one to keep the conversation going.

Feel free to jump in and share yours:

Have a good day.

Ha! Thanks! It was a rabbit hole and not a very fun one. Comparing TWS was a blast! Eartips, not so much. So, I think the Dunu S&S sound the best by far on the Beoplay - and they were are funny looking. I tried the Acoustune AEX70 (which sounds amazing on the Rex5) on the Beoplay yesterday and they are soooooo, soooo comfortable, but they don't sound quite as good. I'm so done with Eartips bake offs.

And for that matter, I'm done with TWS shopping for a while - though I'd be interested in what the new Sony's sound like. It's interesting if you had said to me I would end up with the Rex5 and Beoplay Eleven's I would have been very surprised. And finding the right tips for the Rex5 was a PITA, but sooooo worth it. I love them even more now.

I just bought used “like new” set of the Te-ZX1 Cowboy Bebop from Amazon. They sound pretty darn good, lots of separation and clarity. Nice detailing. The problem is that with my iPhone 16 pro max, even when the volume is turned all the way up, it’s a notch or two too low.

I don’t like to blast things by any means, but there is just no head room for additional volume.

I’ve read somewhere about a firmware, perhaps fixing this, but so far I don’t think it’s happened. I may end up returning them, which is a shame.

Been A/B the AZ60M2 and the Galaxay Buds 3 Pro and they are very comparable for technical details. The GB3P has a spike in the upper mids/treble area that gives it more edge and makes it a bit more analytical and colder sounding. The AZ60M2 is warmer sounding and more relaxed but not so much so it sounds boring or lacking. I would consider it richer sounding. Both sound excellent depending on my mood.

The GB3P has ever so slightly better ANC but I think both do a good job.

I have been able to 990 for the bitrate one the AZ60M2 which is surprising. My old ears can't hear much difference though, so generally just leave it at adaptive which is the default.

Comfort wise a slight nod to the GB3P but only slightly. The AZ60M2 definitely changed a few things from the original so are quite comfy.

At regular MSRP it would be a toss up which is better if using Galaxy phone. On non Samsung hardware the AZ60M2 is an easy winner. For the sale price I would take the AZ60M2 every time.

I could not A/B these against the WF-XM5 but from memory I would buy the AZ60M2 at MSRP and again easy winner on sale. The ANC on the XM5 would be the only thing to consider and only if that is your highest priority. Sound wise I think the AZ60M2 easily competes and will win in some areas. Comfort wise they are also close enough to be comparable. The M2 model added a wear sensor which was one of the original models weaknesses and I think it has better connectivity. OH, battery life, you have to give the nod to the XM5.
