Also what is up with LC3? So slow in coming round as the new SBC upgrade and you never get battery life specs. Odd that this new Technics lists LC3 battery life as 3 hours worse than LDAC 18 total and 7 buds vs. 15 total and 5 buds. Not sure what that is about. Some sort of LC3 + without a designation? 24 hours SBC vs 15 hours LC3 makes little sense as does even worse than LDAC.

Good stuff to consider thank you for all comments I checked wawelet personally I think too mich just for paint job
I ordered app2 with some case and cleaning stuff with comply tips
I might order air pod 4 also if it’s more comfy and sound isn’t that much difference I might keep 4s
Somehow I didn’t use wawelet EQ can u kindly share your eq on that air pod 4 please 🙏🏻
My APP2 I paid a price and had Colorware.com do them. My AP4 ANC, I just did it with a paint pen. It’s crude but no one can tell. I left the case white.

Love them. Surprised by how well they work. ANC is not near APP2, but great for killing hums. Sound is below the APP2 but not by much imo. They are stellar for a very small case and something to toss in your pocket when out and about or at the office.

I've got the ANC version. Using on Android phone with wavelet EQ. Turning up the higher frequencies makes them shine.

yea, they dropped LDAC and now its SBC, AAC and WHA which puts them in the same area as samsung, but at least samsung has a whole android compatible ecosystem, Huawei means hooking yourselfe to a ecosystem that basically only works well inside china.

I thought it also had LDHC
Huawei phones work well outside of China, as long as you buy the Global version sold in Europe, Middle East and SE Asia Malaysia.
I use a specific app to use all Goggle Services.
The only thing I don't use is banking apps. Keep those on my iPhone as I like the Face 3D ID added security, which you can only get on Android with the Honor Magic 6 Pro or the new 7 Pro.

Back to the TWS, the design language of Huawei is better than Samsung as it relates to fell in the hand, square stem, controls , case and app.

That's what I was thinking. If there was a US seller I might spend my Xmas money on them.
Amazon has them but shipping in the future and 45-50 more than Dunu site. I used to review some of their stuff, I always enjoyed it. Dunu SA6, Luna and DK2001, some cables and so on.....

So are the n9 similar to the JBL tour one M2. The options in the app look very similar . I know they are all part of Harman but just curious if they share slot more than just tech
Drivers look different, at least in pictures

https://www.jbl.com/over-ear-headphones/TOUR-ONE-M2.html

App seems to be shared codebase. Tour Pro 3 also uses same. My guess is at least tuning will be different. AKG N9 does have that AKG sound signature, just like the n400 TWS did. I also like JBL TP3 though so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did u happen to use the n5 too as that seems almost identical to the TP3? Very curious about the differences. It's very odd how the whole akg,JBL and Samsung stuff plays out . Samsung doesn't make headphones anymore leaving it to JBL and akg .yet in some markets you can only buy JBL and not akg.

A ultra bud/headphone from the strengths of all 3 brands would be stunning ...

Flipped back to the Sony Hybrid tips on the JBL Live Buds 3. They make the bass way more punchy and add lushness to the sound. If you have a pair of these tips kicking around and either the Live Buds 3 or their stick designed counter part I highly recommend them. The nozzle easily stretched over the stem (my pair are older and have been used on wider nozzles in the past so may be easier than a new pair. The narrowed opening on the tip changes the sound quite a bit and for me it's a positive change.

I haven't tried n5, but it's not dual-driver so not identical. The Samsung GPB3 is really pretty different. I know Harmon does a lot of stuff outside consumer audio, like car audio and theaters, etc. Meanwhile Samsung itself is mostly occupied in non-phone stuff as well and I'm guessing they are mostly hands-off with Harmon.

Sound quality compared to APP2 thank you in advance or general sq due to open ear buds they re much more comfortable for some people with small ears including me 🐑
Sound quality is very nice. They have a noticeable mid bass bump in them compared to the APP2 so bass sounds a bit more thumpy. The APP2, thanks to its seal, has this emphasis further down into the sub bass. But the fact that the AirPods 3rd Gen are totally open makes things sound a little more open and natural.

And as others have said, they're beyond convenient given their size and their stellar microphones. They don't fit very well in my ears, which is annoying, but somewhat manageable. The active noise cancellation is good and will knock out a lot of lower frequency nosies. However again since they don't fit super well in my ears, they cause an inconsistent cabin pressure sort of effect. It makes me a little bit dizzy. I don't experience any of that at all with the APP2; fully expect here that this is due to my weird ear anatomy and probably not something others encounter.

So I guess if you've used standard AirPods before and you like them, then rest assured that these are the best iteration of them. If you've used AirPods before and didn't really get on with them, these probably won't change your opinion. And if you use the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation and love them, those are better for everything except perhaps for audio/video calls in quiet locations.

Not TWS, but a great deal on AKG N9 Hybrid. These have been my favorite headphones for the past month or so.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/186853488426

AKG itself is selling them on ebay for just a bit more. Seems like a fire sale, not sure why but very much worth getting at these prices.
Good set. Similar in quality to m4
