Inbound today. Looking forward to hearing them. I’ve not used BT headphones before. The $153 price on the AKG N9 hybrid was too good for me to pass on. I received them yesterday, and they are worth every penny. They are a very enjoyable pair of wireless headphones. They are light on the head and comfortable to my ears. The case would easily fit in a backpack.

Been a while but pulled my Fiio UTWS5 and FH5 out for a listen. Forgot how good this combination sounds. It's a nice change up of audio quality. Not the best TWS all rounder. But when you just want to listen to music it's very nice.
That a shame. Guess they're a return before receiving.I do not believe aptX LL is one of the codecs. Mine are used in gaming with AAC, so far the best low latency performance I’ve found. Not great, but not horrible.
Is there no way to somehow use some USB dongle to achieve good low latency on PC?

As much as a like the sound of the FTW5S, it sure would be nice if it could play more than 3 songs before it starts to stutter and have glitches...
Maybe I will put the regular cable on the FH5 and try them with my good ol Pono player...

Fairly certain they have AptX Adaptive LL capability. At least that's what my Creative BT-W5's showed when used with my PC.That a shame. Guess they're a return before receiving.

Okay. Lol I never owned them at full price, and I started by saying the $153 price was what I paid and IMO they are worth $153. I also took them with me when I walked my dog and they were fine to me, out and about. They barely worth the full price, but if they are on sale... sent back the ones I had purchased a month ago to Amazon and picked these up on ebay for a third of the price. They sound better than any of the tws options, but jot practical for out and about. Great for home or office
There is an eq setting in the app, AKG N9 setting, that sounds the best to my ears. I am not sure you have to set it. it may set it automatically.Inbound today. Looking forward to hearing them. I’ve not used BT headphones before.

Azla Xelastec are my "go to" for just about all my IEM's. A little pricey but they seal and fit comfortably like no other tips I've used. What tips are you using? I struggle like hell with these ear buds and am always adjusting them.

They have Xelastic 2's now and the same issue they eventually go out of shape (the hot water fix does not work fully esp. after multiple times) this can be made worse by the charge case if they touch the sides when charging added to the heat charging causes.

I actually have the 2's now. Got them the other day. I find I get plenty of life out of them. Fortunately, the Noble charging cases dont cause any deformation. They dont contact the sides when in case. They do eventually lose their shape. However, the fit, comfort and sound quality is worth having to replace them every now and thenThey have Xelastic 2's now and the same issue they eventually go out of shape (the hot water fix does not work fully esp. after multiple times) this can be made worse by the charge case if they touch the sides when charging added to the heat charging causes.

According to the online manual for the DPP, there’s no aptX LL supportFairly certain they have AptX Adaptive LL capability. At least that's what my Creative BT-W5's showed when used with my PC.

aptX LL (very few earbuds/phones support this, more so full sized headphones) and aptX Adaptive LL (low latency) Mode are not the same.
I would be very surprised if those Denon's did not work under that setting in the Creative Dongles.
Even if a certain model of earbuds do not have a specific setting built in for this it will simply play at 24/48 instead of 24/96.
