It stuck out to far when sleeping so was hoping the JBL would be more comfortable. They are more comfortable BTW, just not enough to sleep on my side.

I can't see a scenario where I could side sleep with some earbuds ! I can barely sidesleep with these rubber earplugs

how is the beoplay EX compared to the 11 in SQ and are ANC and Transparency mode now also good on the EX?

I don’t have ex only have 11 very decent anc and transparency - ex owners should answer anc and transparency compression but @erockg he said it much better on 11 then ex , I agree b and o seam like more complete package except the pi8 transmitter case and yes pi8 much louder then bo11 but like fellow members saying sound is different pi8 might be better for some but bo sounds more natural warmer but less volume you have to put up volume on phone but as long as you keep it on safe db I think it won’t damage ears , b and o more comfy for me then pi8 because of my ear shapes looks like I am kind of stuck with stems like tws at the moment so lucky those who can fit Rex-5 lol . Other things I liked on bo 11 case design waterproof dust proof I work outside most of the time so necessary for me and with comply tips that comes with it I was able to wear them 7-8 hours no hurting , and battery lasts like 7 hours for me with pi8 I can say like 4 and half hours or less . Only thing I wished b and o had also transmitted case I am gonna order jbl tour pro 3 also to try if I like them I ll have as a backup pair . lol hoping they ll put some discount on b o h 100 headphones hearing all good stuff about them
B and o products comes with higher warranty and 11 s batteries are replaceable now h100 headband all that also 11 has 3 h100 has 5 years warranty I think it makes more sense to buy directly from b and o website if no discounts on Amazon ex was 200$ on Amazon they raised it to 279$ now so if the anc and transparency much better on 11 then it’s worth it and if you wishing to pair with h100 same silver color lol even better
Looks like I ll be returning also pi8 they re great but b and o better fit and better overall for me . Sound wise I couldn’t decide the winner between them imowho

What does ip ratings means to you ? Ip ratings means depends on the number water resistant or water proofing depends on the number and materials used higher the number higher the resistance
Yes indeed b and o ex and new 11 states on their website they are dust and waterproof therefore if you comparing to pi8 they re water resistant which means they will be okay to some sweat maybe some light rain but b and o will be waterproof outside water won’t go and dust inside parts will be dry clean I won’t wear them inside swimming pool of course - can wear them while working outside under the rain for example sound is universal thing so you might like pi8 sound some will like b and o sound b and o for me more natural sound then pi8
B and case design build quality very good more pocket friendly two things it’s missing compared to pi8 bt transmitter case and less volume ( loud) sound b and o offers 3 years warranty to pi8 2 years warranty b and o better is replaceable now on 11 model they re more expensive then pi8 specially they re on sale now 319$ I don’t think you would be disappointed with either one . Anc transparency better on b and o then pi8 battery lasts longer on b and o so like I mentioned b and o more complete package then pi8 but if you had either one you ll be happy user . lol also do some research they re available when you saying where did the information came from on waterproof dust proof thing most of us here used many many tws and we have a lot of knowledge lol

No, I must've misunderstood something. I thought you meant the B&O aluminium case was also waterproof, that's why I asked where the info came from but I guess I just misread your lines, I know what IP-ratings mean.
I'm a B&O guy and own the Beoplay H100 and just got the EX for Christmas (was on sale, couldn't resist) The reason I asked your comparison with the Pi8 is because they've become a very popular choice and was wondering if I miss out something with the EX (or Elevens) compared to the Pi8s, apart from the volume - which isn't a big deal for me, found the EX loud enough anyway - and I'm not interested in the case's transmitter feature either. In fact, I've found the B&W Px8 headphones' sound very underwhelming, so if the Pi8 buds any similar to their headphones tuning, I wouldn't like them either.

To clarify, I am a long time EX and now an Eleven user. The case is not waterproof, for either. I actually did go swimming with my EX in my ears. They came out just fine.

The EX are much cheaper on the used market. I like both, prefer the Eleven, but I have listened critically for years to my gear, such is my review life. I have heard, with time, some nuances in the the tuning, and I feel the ANC and transparency are greatly improved.

Slight musical uptick, improved ANC and transparency and 100 more than a new EX, so then choice remains the consumers.

I just sold my H95 and also have the H100.

A lot of people likes pi8 but since you don’t like their tuning you ll be good with b and ex , I wouldn’t even bother ordering pi8 in your case but they re decent ( good) tws and I personally think from pi7 to pi8 bowers and Wilkins really put some work on their new tws. I wish I bought ex when it was 200$ to have second pair . Their design and case very elegant I am also insterested with h100 but not at the moment mainly using tws don’t get much time for headphones. Well good to know they holding up well in swimming pool that’s great actually oh I didn’t understand you were talking about the case either lol
If I didn’t have small and uneven ears and ear canals I would have more options to enjoy like noble Rex-5 aviots etc - since b and o has stem design I can somehow deal with it I am just trying all kinds of tips to get the comfort and seal .
Out of the subject I just received app2 hating the white color feels like they ll dirty in two weeks and after using several hours they re much less comfortable then b and o , maybe because they re on smaller size going deeper in ear I couldn’t figure out
Great features on app2 for iPhone users specially when you talk it lowers the music great feature I really wished they re more comfortable for long use

For some reason I could not find the N9 EQ setting. I see one called Studio, as well as the usual Bass, Vocal etc. This is on Android with the hi-res toggle on.

Lazy day and played around with primary set of TWS

A few comments :

A) Aurvana Ace 2, Soundcore LP4 and Oppo stand very well within this crowd.

B) Huawei FBP4 are a great device and far better in my IMO than Apple Pro 2 and Samsung BP3 Pro. Careful Apple and Samsung are great if you are looking for no set up and good out of the box.

C) Most equalizer work on LG Tone 90s and Final Audio ZE8000 MK2

D) Most benefitted by tip swapping Sony MK05, Montblanc-03 and Samsung BP3 Pro.

E) B&O Eleven, B&W PI8, Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 , Sennheiser MTW4 and M&D 09 are good options if you have the cash. ANC on B&O ,B&W and Sennheiser do the trick with great sound tuning. But if you are using for phone calls stick to the TWS listed on A and B.

F) Still trying to get a handle on the Cambridge M100.

G) Audio Technica feel dark .

H) Prefer the Pixel Buds Pro to the newer Pro 2. I think is just the shape. But tuning has definitely change .

I) The old Samsung GBP2 are way better for me than the GBP3

Well that is it for now, dealing with my wife and her concern on this addiction
