Some interesting times ahead potentially, for companies like B&W, Denon..

I guess that explains the $99 Denon Pearl pros.

What a strange trio of has-been brands. You got England, Japan, and Kew Gardens, Queens. Marantz had its heyday in the '70s, Denon in the 80's and B&W in the 90's. I still have my B&W speakers from then and once had a hand-me-down Denon micro component system. I'm not old enough that I have a Marantz receiver (they go for over 2K on eBay) but I think I did have a Marantz branded CD player from when they're owned by Philips.

Of the three I guess B&W has the best chance of being picked up but I wouldn't put money on it.

For the price...the Denon Pearl Pros are quite remarkable. I love the fact that you can pause music and enable ambient mode (they call it social mode) by a single tap.

The surface area of the touch controls is quite large, definitely one of the best TWS when it comes to the touch controls, you can also fully customise the control scheme.

The fit was initially a bit awkward, but after reading the manual it finally became clear. After following the manual the fit is very good, seals well and stays in place.

Biggest con is my own fault...my Samsung device sadly don't support anything other than standard Aptx. Despite having a new gen 3 SoC...Samsung and Qualcomm should work something out!

The case is small and feels sturdy, also supports wireless charging. The application sports many features, including an advanced sound personalization feature. Multipoint connection also works quite well.

The price for them at the moment makes them a bargain -- the main issue i had with them was around fit -- the tips i ended up having to use to make them more confortable (but still not great for several hours listening) made the sound signature too bass heavy / dark. With EQ even it felt subdued.
I'd say the DPP's are very fit sensitive but definitely worth a punt at £100

The fit for me personally is great, so yeah the experience will probably vary from person to person. I do recommend people to check the manual, I had no idea how they're were supposed to fit prior to reading the manual.

One of the major flaws of the Beoplay EX is the terrible ANC. Hopefully they fixed that with the Eleven.

Yes! The feature to be able to set it so when you tap into ambient mode it pauses the music, and the reverse un pauses it, is just such a nice quality of life one.

The momentum s have always had that feature and the Jabra elite 10 series.

I think the techniques may have had that feature too I can't remember.
Anyway it's extremely useful for my Urban use case situations.

Seems it is about the mic and ANC for the update...

That might be too much for you.

Not really sure what else they could’ve done for an update outside of that. I really did think they were a wonderful package outside of the ANC and transparency. We shall see! Worst case, they get returned. Time to sell off a few buds to offset the cost!
