1000€ feels a bit much for something you cant service and you just toss out when the battery dies.

Default Flat EQ with the stock tips sounds great to me. If only the Svanar could actually maintain a stable Bluetooth connection... So the Pi8 does it for me...

The trick I found with the Svanar is once they have an initial connection, go to Bluetooth drop-down and disconnect, then immediately reconnect...works for me.

Thank you @subguy812 , I tried all known troubleshooting procedures. I sent them back yesterday. The Pi8 has none of those issues and sounds excellent.

I ordered another pair for Me sound is way better then pi8 let’s hope this pair won’t have same tech issues

Been listening like this for the past few days... I like it so far; it maintains enough excitement for me without the overly cinematic sound its default tuning sometimes has.

Wavelet App > Auto EQ > B&W Pi7 2...hopefully Wavelet will update the list.

There is a difference in sound between ANC On and W/O ANC. To me, the respective settings are correct and the Pi8 sounds better when applied.

Price the Pi6 at $199 and the Pi8 at $299 upon introduction, and you’ll see them move off the shelf.. This market is saturated and you have to get the consumer to put his current TWS in the drawer, and buy the shiny new one. Also, it is amazing the sound quality that can be had under $150.

So I compared the XM5 to my original Bose QC’s. Sony absolutely has better SQ, but it’s not a fair comparison. The Bose has significantly better NC, not even in the same league. For those that don’t know, there is no free lunch here. Strong NC will affect the sound. The Bose still sound good and in the restaurant I tested these, is the preferred TWS. Why, you don’t need to turn them up near as loud.
Yes, the Sonys did have a good seal, the NC is an issue per YouTube reviews.
