I've never seen an update on any B&W tws I've ever ownedQuestion for those Bowers and Wilkins fans, did these guys ever update their software or have firmware updates?

I had the 10 v2 - while theyre decent TWS with good ANC, they would just not auto connect to the iphone, which is a known problem (see jabra subreddit) - and jabras solution was that "we will fix it by next year" so I returned them.saw the Jabra Elite 10 V2 on sale for $199 so grabbed a set.
The transparency mode is amazing for voices. It's not as good for the ambient noises around you as the Pixel Buds Pro 2, but for voices, it's just really good. I have had a few conversations with these in and one point I was wondering if they were even in my ear. ANC is definitely improved. I would just like to stick the sound of the MTW4 into these because these do everything so good from the size, form factor, battery life, ANC, Transparency, respectable app. SQ is good but it's just not as good as others I've heard.
My wife, who has never shown any interest in audio, has asked me for a TWS that she can sleep in (listening to audiobooks puts her to sleep, but any noise keeps me awake, so TWS would be a good compromise). What are some recommendations for TWS that are both comfortable and low profile?

that's a bummer. zero issues with android fortunately.I had the 10 v2 - while theyre decent TWS with good ANC, they would just not auto connect to the iphone, which is a known problem (see jabra subreddit) - and jabras solution was that "we will fix it by next year" so I returned them.

Same more or less across every product they haveI've never seen an update on any B&W tws I've ever owned![]()
Is bt-w6 working with iphone as btw-11 does?Interesting. I wonder if it’s the adapter. I have the Creative BT-W6 and Denon Perl Pros’. To my somewhat old ears (50ish), aptX Lossless sounds a lot better than AAC listening to the remastered “Up to Here” album from The Tragically Hip. Loving Gord’s vocals.
That's inspiring.Same more or less across every product they have
Apple airpods 4 ANC.

Using it on a Google pixel 9 pro fold Android phone. ANC is pretty good for an open type design. It effectively eliminates soft whirring sounds like air-conditioning and fan. Loud low rumble like bus engines still get through, as do voices. Transparency mode sounds similar to turning off the ANC and let in the same amount of ambient sound. Soundstage is wider than the airpods pro 2 due to its open design.
They have prominent mid bass and not much sub bass. Mids are clear and sounds natural. Highs are smooth and not sibilant, but they do sound thin. Turning up the treble range a few notches in Wavelet brings out the highs and makes it more resolving. Overall a warm sounding pair of earbuds.
The fit is dependent on the user's ears, since there are no rubber sleeve of different sizes to accommodate to different ears. They are made up of hard plastic, but they are surprisingly quite comfortable and secure in my ears. Battery life is pretty decent with about 4.5 to slightly less than 5 of hours of playtime with ANC turned on. The case is tiny, there's no more physical pairing button, pairing is done by double tapping the area below the case's LED light.
