That's not an IEM, that's a status symbol. A solid chunk of those guys in there that's what they are seeking. It's validation like an expensive watch or car or whatever many products there are that have passed a point where it is just to show off wealth.

$249 for the SQ these put out...IMHO & limited experience w/TWS, is unmatchable There are a few HF's whose hackles are raised lol.

Listening at home >ANC off> stuck my head under stove exhaust fan on high>stock tips on> WTH? 95% block, makes me want to ignore warnings and take on a plane.

Listening to 'Kill Jill'; live forever.....Bass seems enough....waiting on a FF Deuce when (if) it comes #1 song> this and will compare..was enjoying the moment.
Now listening to 'Spoonman' yes, I get it something is not enough.

ZX1 & Pi8...are stiff competition...comparisons? The SVANAR is Not Being Returned. LOL

SQ impressions: & fit with included tips comparing to ZX1 & Pi8.

(easy part) All 3 fit well with a tight seal sitting on my couch. ZX1 & Pi8 my use case > fairly equal, Svanar untested.

All three to me sound very good. Today: Svanar my #1 and certainly <PATENTLY> worth $249.

Yes indeed. The mics are excellent with the 10 and gen 2. I read in the jabra subreddit that there was a teardown and the internal bits appeared to be identical with the two models... Not sure how true that was though..

I had the 10 and gen 2 and I can tell you that I couldn't see a physical difference between the 2. They fit in each other cases too..

It's actually a real shame as the gen 2 are seriously good but hard to recommend given the situation with support and potential updates.

I used my Gen 1 Elite 10 today after a month or 2 of mostly using the GB3P and they really are a good TWS. If the gen 2 improved the software side I will wait till they start to be cleared out and buy a 2nd pair.

Yes many here as you can see in the previous posts.

A cash grab on the day before (AFAIR) Apple did a new product launch but TBF they did add some basic features missing before like tun off ANC, power on/off/pair from the earbuds.

I finally tried the KZ Xtra. The sound is great and with further tuning it is amazing! It is what I was looking for exactly. Smooth bass, expansive mids, clean highs.

Problem with the Xtra though is, it doesn't fit too well. The units ear pieces are made of very slippery material, so I constantly found myself dropping one accidentally when pulling them from the case. The case doesn't feel nice, lid is too wobbly and the handling is the worst with any TWS I tried so far.
But the real problem is, that the Xtra can output great bass, but doesn't seem to handle it well, at least the unit I have. I keep hearing rattling or distortions often times, like when you got too much, too loud bass. Thing is, it is not too much and my Blon BL-05 handle it just fine.

All the other TWS' I tried were the opposite, great shapes, great cases, flawless bass, good experience overall... but sound like trash can.


You know, recommendations do not work based on personal opinion. The only way is through comparison. Afterall, the KZ Xtra were recommended to me, because I asked for something that is similar to the Blon BL-05 in sound and it was spot on. Thanks for that.

Thus I kindly ask again, if some can recommend me something that is akin to Blon or Xtra in sound and bass, but of better quality in terms of ergonomics, shape and casing. I am ready to go higher in price (up to 200 ¤ or slightly beyond), because I don't know anymore. I don't trust all the "this sub 50 Dollar TWS is SOO amazing, you guise" reviews anymore.

Hmm... Noble H-ANC maybe. Not too bad at lower $100ish.

Sony XM5’s dropped to $229 at Best Buy.

It's a confusing mess. Yes, it works. But yes, you need to turn off bt or disconnect then wait (which sometimes takes a min) to get the adapter to connect to the buds. It won't work on a few of my buds. Says it's connected but then I hear nothing. The app is buggy, sometimes disconnects and I have to be patient to get it to reconnect. It works great with my Noble Triumphs, PI8 and Tour Pro 3, but not others. YMMV. I don't regret getting it. But if you think you can rely on it... nope. It'll just live in my collection for when I'm home and want to do LDAC or aptX on the above mentioned buds.

The Hifiman Svanar Wireless connects to the Fiio BT11 flawlessly and sounds incredible using LDAC.
