The Earfun in APTx mode sound much better and I am simply using the default EQ and the weird peaks seem to be gone.

These are crazy good for their price. Feeling pretty comfortable flipping the XM5.

Has anyone tried the Liberty 4 Pro plus these who can give a comparison?

Can't decide if I'll should keep the Amiron 300's! My ZE 8000 MKII just sounds too darn good. Soundstage is just so much larger. But the Amrion do many other things right! Like it's small case with QI, touch controls, connectivity and ANC.

I was okay with mine, comfort, LDAC, and the sound was okay, not head over heels, better than anything I already have. The icing on the cake was the phone call and being told that I needed to switch buds so they could hear me. I felt they were comfortable, but even with the largest tips not secure.

The G2 are really quite excellent. I forgot they are $500 (wow) tbh. They really do sound lovely with a lean toward the fun side of things. They really are the complete package. You could pair them with the new creative dongle and have a sweet on the road package. For personal tastes, I just love the treble response on the Triumph. It's addicting. I don't think you can get there outside of xmems.

If you have the Amiron 300, Beyerdynamic responded to my question about spare tips: "The spare tips for the Amiron 300 aren’t available yet because the product was just recently launched. However, they will be available shortly and added to the site soon."

For those enjoying the 300 what eq are you using? They sound very ordinary to me.

None as they sound good to me unlike the thump sounding (bass or mids not sure) Free Byrd's but they are not a £229 pair of earbud with that case and LDAC only the decent Codec.

Someone here mentioned they woudl have preferred aptX Adaptive/Lossless guesses it was down to cost but these are not cheap and above mentioned model were aptX Adaptive 24/96 (no Snapdragon Cert).

My batteries seems to have settled after a good few 0-100% cycles (not partially charged yet) as at one point on charge number 3 it was L=0% and R 24% (54mins I had to use it till it died) where as the Free Byrd's are near the same and died within 2-5mins of each other but after a few month of use they were limited to 95% and now 90% so woudl seem issue with their battery supplier (MTW3/4 same issues) as other have reported the same.

Did they mention a larger size as they do not fit me and many of my ALZA range of ear tips do not fit the tiny case (length is issue not diameter).

I didn't ask about sizes. All of the tips they have listed on their site come in the same set of multiple sizes as the originals.

I got the best fit with my AZLA Crystal Standard but they came off in my ears 50% of the time as they 2 lugs they put on the nozzle to align the oval ear tips seems to prevent them gripping as they are slack on the nozzle which is strange as it is quiet large and they will not fit the case so not charge/let lid close.

Out the box with their own XL tips was the worse SQ I have heard in a while it was obvious something was wrong, same issue with the Crystal TWS.

Maybe it's not a fair fight but I can't imagine picking them over the Triumph or Pi8. That said I can't find a good fit for the pi8. Somehow the Azla medium fit me on the triumph but are too loose in the pi8.
