It may well be but it still is not high quality and any Codec would be suffice even SBC/AAC as YouTube Music Premium is only using 256 kbps AAC and OPUS

Try KZ Xtra. It has clearer mid, tighter and more textured bass than the BL03.

Which TWS do you perceive as best for calls ?
For your information, Pi8 is returning to where I purchased it. I couldn't justify them just because they are my only non-stem earbuds. Which was the only reason I was keeping them. IMO, they didn't stand out in any category, but I liked how they looked, and I used them primarily every day I had them.
If you use an iPhone, I would buy the Airpods Pro 2.
Still the undefeated champion of being the "total package". (Calls, ANC, ambient mode, fit, comfort, small case, Spatial surround, controls and they actually sound good for daily use (not critical listening))
The voice isolation on the iPhone combined with the Airpods Pro 2 is amazing IMO.

Well, that's my journey with MTW3/MTW4's concluded
After replacing my earbuds 3 times due to failed buds under warranty -- i let Amazon handle a "repair" this time --- that was 3 weeks ago.
Contacted them just now about the delay and they've informed me that they're "lost" so they just refunded me the original purchase.
A real shame cos they totally suited my listening profile but their reliability has been the worst.
Onward to the next experiment --- JBL TP3 is one i'm considering next week

Huawei (Freebuds Pro 3) and Samsung (Buds 3 Pro) use a combination of bone conduction and mems mics, which seems to be the most effective combination

I tried when I was preparing my review. The occlusion was pretty bad unfortunately, too much for me to bear even just a short distance like running for the train

Could anyone compare the B&W PI8 to the Denon Perl Pros in terms of fit, ANC and (most importantly) sound quality? The DPP have become my go-to TWS and I love them ahead of the Technics AZ80 and Senn MTW4.

Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also uses Super Wideband Speech support in Android OS. I can attest it makes makes calls sound loud and clear on the listening side. https://www.androidpolice.com/super-wideband-bluetooth-speech/

The fit of the Pi8 is much more comfortable than the DPP. They are also 2 gms lighter and much smaller outer diameter. Sound quality is as good as DPP and I like it better after EQ to my preferences.
