You know you are bougie and want to flash that iPhone. They are such a rarity, and all of your girlies are impressed.Dude, I don't buy my iPhones to show off my status. Give me a break. I have iPhones and Android gear. Don't generalize your own opinion in that realm. It's not constructive. If I want LDAC, Aptx etc., I use my DAP. You're making unfair assumptions about us Americans. Be smarter.

100%. I velcro it to my rear. You know you are bougie and want to flash that iPhone. They are such a rarity, and all of your girlies are impressed.
Let me see ...I don't think my P8P does lc3plus. I just checked two of my DAPS, too tired to check all of them, and another phone I have sitting here and I don't think I have a device that utilizes lc3plusAny differences between lc3plus and LDAC when using these?

Well that is disappointing.
By the way, why are we talking about LDAC and AptX Lossless, when Samsung SSC HIFI/UHQ uses more than 2000kbit/s?? How is this not talked about more?
Because Samsung do not talk about it (in fact pretty secretive about the details) probably due to it is still Lossy, it does not matter if it is 5000Kb and a CD is usually about 1200-1400Kb because as that is only the data rate between the 2 Bluetooth Antennas.
You could get some Alien Tech Lossless Compression that could do it over BT at 100Kb I suppose,
Bluetooth is not limited to 2Mb/s before overheads, I posted last week the older versions could do 3Mb/s before overheads and the next version was 24Mb/s before overheads but its not as simple as that with audio.
aptX Lossless uses a type of Compression that is Lossless unlike others and that includes LDAC 16/44.1 @ 900/990Kb and I can show you me using SBC at 1141Kb but it is not Lossless.
The Edifier LHDCX earbuds above can do 24/192k over BT but the bitrate is 1000Kb Max so it is all about the compression but will be High Res Lossy as before.
Would seem LHDC v5 is 192k which my phone supports.

I notice they are using LC3plus in the graph...interesting, I still must be using LDAC with dongle, sorry if I gave misleading info. I reinstalled Bluetooth Codec Changer, and it is indeed LDAC. Regardless, I don't hear a "broken" sound with the dongle, it may be slightly different. It is nice to get the full quality from your streaming app, that it is capable of.
Not to disrespect a reviewer, but the graph tells a partial story. Also, their opinion is their subjective opinion. So far we have two opinions of the AKG on this thread. Also, we have a review. The more posts and more opinions, the merrier.

LDAC via the Dongle, I doubt that it has LDAC for latency reasons and Bluetooth Codec Changer will not be able to see the Dongle anyway.

Anyway
I guess the problem is not in the dongle itself, but in the receiving units. Maybe they can fix it with a firmware update. The now infamous AKG dongle
