Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Thanks. Weird. Plugged in all day.
Just a thought, if you haven't tried this already.

Plug the charge case into a low output USB source (possibly a computer) & allow it to charge.

I did this once with a charge case (different brand) that would not accept a charge from a phone power bank. I left it on charge status for around 8 hours, and after doing so the charge case was fully charged and would allow for future power bank charges.

I'm guessing the charge case battery was extremely low and needed some tlc through a trickle charge.

If that doesn't work, then contact hq and work with them directly.

Cheers 🍻

Thanks. I think I got them going again. I’ll report back but yeah the case was pretty dead.

Hands on: Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 review

They mention 20ms via a Dongle, not sure if they are talking about their existing Dongle or have something new and better in the pipeline.

I can't wait. Just put in a calendar reminder for the 15th to pre order these.

Love every upgrade here, send like lots of great touches, like the charging mode additions, the better anc and microphones, similar driver to the ie600, and the rest

Besides not making the case smaller.

I had the exact same issue. Although I did notice that my case still had 3 LED's before it went completely dead. It happened twice so I don't think that's normal behavior. Kai has offered some support and I'm keeping a close eye on my next charge/dead cycle to see if it happens again. Might be a faulty charging case.

Just curious, do you live in a cold climate? I ask because sometimes batteries getting cold = bad ju ju

(Batteries in general, not sure about charge cases)

That would be a yes. :) Toronto Ontario to be precise and it's been hitting -20ish Celsius on a few days but I'm not outdoors that often or long enough I would say for it to cause an issue. At least I hope?

Seems like the biggest selling point.

But what does "similar" mean?
Well the Porsche is similar to a VW right?

Yeah, mine went from charged to dead kind of immediately. So I'll monitor it as well.

So I may just be done with Bluetooth buds. The MTW3 that I got not very long ago is having issues. The left bud is dead and won’t charge. Kind of makes me mad, very disappointed.

Today when I went out I just used my Truthear Hexa. I used a shirt clip to clip the wire to the collar of my shirt, and stuck the wire inside my shirt, then into my pants pocket and plugged into an Apple dongle and then my phone. A few more steps and a tiny bit more of a hassle than a set of TWS buds, but they won’t die in the same way a set of TWS buds, and they definitely sound better than my AirPods Pro gen 2.

I hardly use my MTW3 due to discomfort but I have tried them again and now noticed the the Blue LED (Wear Sensor) is not working on the right earbud, tried cleaning them and will do factory reset if nothing then RMA.

If the new MTW4 are same shape/fit then they are a no go for me and the real battery life is pretty poor at about 5.5hours with my usage.
