DigDub:
It’s very comfortable. So far I’ve taken a few calls in office and home environments and the other party could hear me. The controls are a bit limited as only the double and triple taps can be customized. Single tap does nothing and tap-and-hold is fixed at controlling volume. Connection strength is very good. The bass is very good as well, and the buds respond well to EQ. ANC is ok I guess, not as good as Bose or Sony, probably about 80% of them. ANC does make the sound a tad warmer and the soundstage a tad closer.
From my end a few thoughts:
• Like the case and transparent design.
• The earpieces are slippery for me and have multiple instances in which they slip out of my hand trying to take these out of the case. Not a big issue within a home office, but in the car or airport would be a concern.
• They sit well and are comfortable.
• Did take me a bit of time to find the right touch zone and timing for double and triple taps.
• I like that volume control is present.
• Calls are fine no issues within the home or car environment, have not tried while walking due to the weather in my area.
• ANC works fine within previous environments, but still needs to be tested while walking or on a plane. They are not at Bose level, but at their price point they are very competitive.

Sound, it took me a bit more than a day to start hearing differences with a few others. Find the sound and tuning using the flat/rock/pop equalizer settings much more than the APP2.
Really like the details and/or clarity . The bass needs to be managed as it will vary with ANC on and off as there is good power behind it. Have used these with different tracks and streaming services.
For the price I think these are good option.

Maybe double-up? The Jabra Elite 10s are still on sale at $200 and are the best full TWS package I've had. I use them commuting and they are my first choice in office with ANC. Sound Quality is subjective but many, me included, think they sound great. I use the Aurvanas for at-home or focused listening, mostly with ANC off. You can get both for $350.
I tried the Jabra Elite 10s instore, they are basically perfect but i couldnt get a seal with them even with the largest eartips. They sound good for tws, have great comfort and quite good ANC but without pressing the left one in, i couldnt get a seal with any of the provided eartips. Really sucks. Why you cant use the Aurvanas for everything?
At home i have a set of IE900 with a qudelix 5k or rme adi-dac 2 so im good there

Is the only difference between Ace and the Ace 2 the Aptx Lossless?

I can pick up the Ace (not the 2) for the same price as the Linkbuds S and cheaper than the 1more EVO.

I know they don't have LDAC (that I specified in my previous post) but the Pixel 7a supposedly supports LC3 and AptxHD (so Aptx Adaptive should work also).

No Aptx Adaptive for Pixel - just basic Aptx. I use LE mode = LC3 with Pixel 8 Pro. And yes, at $20 you are only buying looks for now with Ace 2.

1. I hate the touch controls -- rarely do I get i right
2. They have no wind mode (though ok with ANC off)
3. Their mic performance is not as good as Jabra
4. Overall flaky. Jabra is solid as it gets
Doesnt seem like these are deal breakers for me personally with the biggest maybe being that wind noises are amplified too much. Wind just is the biggest enemy of any ANC Earbud and most of the time earbuds had a seperate mode for it i didnt use it because it mainly was a trade off between weaker anc/ more other noises and stronger anc/ more wind noise.
What you mean with "overall flaky"? You talking in terms of reliability?

Thanks!

Here the difference is closer to $40 but the 2 is only available from Creative as preorder anyway. Ace is available on Amazon (I have credit from returning the Buds).

I may pick these up over the others at similar prices.

Ordered.

Yes. The only way mine readily connect is via LE, and sometimes there is no sound till I manually reconnect. With LE I cannot access the CReative APp.

Aaaaand cancelled.
