Yeah I am tempted by them - but lack of Amazon reviews and some issues seen by users such as yourself… I’d also like to turn of ANC as not always needed
On this point I'm out on my bike. The ANC mics are picking up and amplifying wind. Unusable and can't turn it off. So much for the marketing mumbo in wind reduction. I still think they are pretty good TWS because they sound sweet but definitely not perfect.

Going to need to do some A/B/C of the Elite 10 to some of my other TWS including Svanar. These seem to have one of the widest sound stages and left to right panning I have heard. It's great for things like progressive rock and genres like Jazz. I imagine some genres might sound worse with this type of sound. But I am really enjoying the sound of these.

I do notice I am turning these up louder than most TWS, so am thinking this is a combination of the difference of the width of sound presentation plus they are not as loud as some of the other brands out there.

Crazy!!! I forgot my phone in the car and probably 90 feet away inside a store and stayed connected. Crazy long connection....

Wow that is crazy. I found the bass to be visceral and the volume the loudest I've ever come across. I am using the stock tips (not the ones with tiny holes) and i get a good seal.

Did you use it with apple or android phone? Did you download the app? I am just using it with HIFI mode. I completely disregarded ANC and any other options because they change the sound quality.

I've also created my own custom EQ and although it doesn't change the sound signature too much, it is a nice addition.
On an android. The app wasn't released when I bought them. Got it from an early stockist, made me think maybe they were an early version but emailed UM and got told it's the same.

I still cycled through the modes tho and was able to listen on hi-fi mode. I really wanted to like them and I'm not easy to disappoint. I hear a lot of people mention how much they like the bass on them but for me, they ain't it.

Is the connection stable using DPP with AptX Adaptive/Lossless on this Sony? I have no reason to believe it wouldn't be, but I've got a very choppy experience on Motorola unless I force regular AptX.
Seems stable so far with ear to jean's pocket distance, haven't used them around the house.

Seems to me this thread has calmed down a bit, most of us have simply blown our headphone budgets…. Just picked up Bose QC 2, Jabra 7 pro and Sennheiser M4 over ears…. Saving some pennies for Black Friday……..hopefully.. 😀
Calmed down only because there is nothing, at this moment. I have thought about revisiting the B&O EX because it was so good.

I think most of the "new" toys have been released and people are waiting for sales... LOL

OK, so I am going to go on a limb and say the Jabra Elite 10 are the surprise sleeper hit of this year's TWS released. These offer a bit of everything, and in spite of not having any hires codecs have managed to create a TWS that rivals any main stream TWS. Yup I am going to say these rival Sony, Technics, Sennheiser, Bose. What they lack in the minutiae they make up for in the over arching music scape.

Some might find the vastness of the sound stage unnatural or to disperse for their tastes but for me this makes these so immersive I can lose myself. The only downside is I find myself turning these up just north of 50% volume a fair amount. But when i do they become magical...

I already mentioned I like these for progressive rock and Jazz. I decided to try these with all of Arvo Pärt's symphonies and you can add Classical to that list! The size of the stage and instrument placement is superb, plus these do an amazing job reproducing brass instruments and kettle drums. I am also finding them to be excellent with older rock of all sorts. Celtic music like Loreena McKennit also sounds amazing. I even tried some Infected Mushroom and Glitch Mob and found these to be excellent with those genres.

Out of the box, I focused more on specific areas like bass, or the details inside a song especially doing A/B comparisons. But over the past few days I have been won over by the over all presentation of the music.

I generally hate paying full retail and when do I get super critical of a product. These are no different. They have a few areas I wish were better for things like wind reduction. But unlike the DPP which I quickly decided to return or even the AZ80 which I feel are worth the $299CAD I paid but not necessarily worth the $399CAD MSRP, the Elite 10 actually sound and function at their full MSRP! Not that a sale price won't make them even more enticing...

Throw is how extremely comfortable they are and the wide variety of things the app can do and these are best mainstream TWS this year for me.

I do hope Jabra can address the wind in their updates, plus look forward to the personalization feature they are adding, along with the new codec (hopefully my Samsung Fold 4 will support, just read One UI 6.0 will have LC3!). But all improvements will just be gravy for an already excellent product.

Anyone have the noble’s? I am curious how far they protrude… review images don’t really give me a good close up nor are they at the right angle (from the front)

I agree with everything you said and I also find myself listing at volumes a bit too high, because the volume goes like from 8 to 10 when I want 9. I switch to spatial just to take the edge off at that point. I think a personal tuning feature could be huge help here

I have not used the spatial audio much because it take off to much of the edge and makes everything a bit to spaced out. But at a bit higher volume that might work really well. Will have to give it a try and see how it sounds.

I hope they take the time to develop a good personal tuning feature. If they emulate the Sennheiser approach that would be a great start.

LC3 might be very interesting when released. It might increase the battery life and if the hype is to be believed improve the sound quality at the same time.

LC3Plus looks very exciting but it also appears to quite different so will have to see how it's adopted.

I hate you a little bit (ok not really), this post made me reserve a pair for pickup in a store about a 5 minute walk from me... I don't neeeed them, but... new toys! It's my birthday in a week so... birthday gift to myself, I guess?

OK, it turns out I had turned on Dolby Atmos in my phone. So some the bigger sound stage was coming from that.

Interestingly I turned it off and then tried the Jabra spatial and it sounded great! Now I have to play with both and see what happens.

I used Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon in Dolby Atmos from Amazon music for my test.

LC3 Plus doesn’t exist for Bluetooth, it’s meant for other radio types. LC3 as used with Bluetooth SIG compliant devices is 96/24 max anyways.
