Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

In terms of sound quality & ANC, which is superior, the AZ80 or Demon Pero Pro; anyone has a chance to compare?
If you can handle the fit, the dpp wins in both categories. But I’d take the az over the dpp because I like my tws in my ears and not on the ground.

Still I can even feel its limitation with a pair of IEMs! I beilive the 3.5 jack on the 1V is more useful features like an external mic than a pair of good headphones/iem...:/

For a pure media/music device perhaps the V60 is a better alternative? The dac/amp is just insane for a phone!

Personally the lack of a dedicated amp/dac doesn't bother me on the 1V since I plan to use Aptx Lossless anyway in the future.
Yeah, I hear that V60 smashes any modern smartphone for a good DAC! For me my priority is just a super-nippy separate device to just disappear off the social grid into, and top Bluetooth codecs. I have Denon Perl Pro, so Lossless would be a big plus, which I *think* the IV series introduced.
I already have a Fiio BTR5 if I want to use nicer wired headphones anyway, so I'm not too bothered!

Think the RoG 6 have the same Quad Sabre DAC as the LG V60 but the 7 went with a double DAC (2xCirrus Logic CS35L45 with 15V boost)

I def must have different holes. I'm getting excellent ANC with them. Great seal without shoving them in. Using them right now waiting for stupid T-mobile to sent me to a far off country to fix a problem here in the US. It's fun.
I hear ya…. My IT offshore folks have spent a week on my work issue, with nothing resolved yet!!

How do you rate Gemini 2 vs AZ80? Sound quality + ANC over other features. I was going to get the new Bose but still no multipoint 😕
Darn that's a tough one. I think the Gemini edges the AZ in ANC and SQ but if you prefer a more neutral tuning the AZ80 might be better and they offer LDAC. The AZ80 is probably better value at 299.

I don't the Gemini makes sense at 449. At that point just get the Svanar. At a 360 with discount it's in the discussion with other $300 premium buds.

Yeah I'm in with the discount. I'm probably going with the Gemini 2. I got a lot out of the first rev, and I need a better ANC daily driver.
Can't imagine you'll be disappointed then. The ANC gives me that slight nausea feeling. Actually not sure why. Don't get that with Bose.

I’ll say this, with this $450 to probably $700 TWS prices I’m seeing, these vendors best not complain about returns.
I expect one hell of an insanely good product for that price. I picked up some Air 7’s at TJ Max that sound way better than they have the right to, for $19…
Just my 2 cents…

So really not that great then? I have the Svanar and was thinking the G2 would be a more mainstream version… app and functionality

I didn't say not that great. I think the AZ80 are pretty great so to say I prefer the G2 means I think they are really great. The app works really well on the G2.

Yeah, but $150 better.. I have the Svanar. I am tempted to get the new Noble’s when they are available, but will be $599 😬 Noble app and tuning seems to be good. Hopefully the microphone is better too, as Svanar’s a joke in that department.

Pretty happy with my TWS collection so far. DPP is my best sounding, best overall TWS that I have.
While I also have my GBuds 2 pro that actually have better ANC and mic quality, but needed an EQ to sound good.
I also have GBuds live for when I am working where I want minimal sound isolation or talking on the phone while lying on the bed.
