Yes, I reside in Thailand (kinda)

I was in China, landed in Bangkok on March 27, rode the earthquake out in a hotel room in Bangkok on the 28, jumped on a plane bound for Taiwan on the 29th.

(I'm in Taiwan presently)

I'll be back in Bangkok on the 31st, then onto Singapore Can Jam.

Like a lot of things I didn't know at the time I hit the "start button" for Noble....

I didn't know life would become a series of plane rides and hotels.

I'm just a simple guy, from a little town in Texas. If it didn't have a gas station, the town would not have existed.

I just enjoyed making pretty CIEMs

In regards to earthquakes, that was the biggest one I've experienced thus far!

Super glad you are OK. Earthquakes are so scary - San Fran based.

What a wonderful adventure of life. :)

How did you find them on sound-performance though --- i found them really lacking punch and sparkle. Just very ordinary

I try not to think of the Ring of Fire here in Los Angeles. I should move back to NY/NJ, but I don't miss the snow and prefer the So Cal weather!

World’s best Bluetooth set?! I did this just for kicks… I usually have the ZVX on my AZ20. They drive the Nautilus quite well though… tiny annoyance that the QDC adapt doesn’t quite seat all the way flush… but that’s a minor issue. Will definitely buy more adaptors from this company if I need them. They work well!
EDIT: put the ZXV back on and dang it… I still love them even though I have the Pro model as well. They don’t sound the same at all. ZVX is bassy, fairly detailed, and overall, just unashamedly dynamic.

Head on over to the Musicopia thread to see my exclusive first impressions of the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2!

Hey I am just curious... have you reviewed the ZX-1? How is the connectivity and ANC? I have heard great things about their sound quality and I am trying to decide between them or one of the noble TWS, since these seem like a better deal, but I can barely find any reviews
I have not offered an official review here, but I have tried many a TWS set and the Aviot Te-ZX1 has ended up my daily driver over many other contenders. I recently demo'ed the Rex5 at audio46 in NYC and while I believe the Rex5 are a superior sound with regard to details and likely customization with EQ for my tastes, it wasn't enough to make me want to sell my ZX1 and make the price jump. Noble does incredible things with their headphones and if I owned neither, I would go Rex5, but with my custom EQ it wasn't a big enough difference (to me) to justify the selling and rebuying at a higher price point - I'd rather wait and see what the next (hopeful) jump is with whatever comes out this year.

Disclaimer: I'm a basshead. Yes, I have audiophile tendencies and am extremely picky about my headphones, but my ideal sound signature is not harmon curve adjacent and the type of music I listen to I want quality, defined, bass that does not negatively impact the other ranges. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I'd put the Rex5 on the top of the pile if I were buying from scratch.

As far as reviews, there are a LOT of impressions in this thread of the ZX1 which I think should give you a pretty good understanding of what it is that they offer. Best of luck.

What is so special about an Airpods packaging that cannot be matched by other manufacturers (I highly doubt it) ?
I know, right? You would think it's not that hard for other manufacturers to implement Apple's standards in packaging and technically it isn't, but there is actually a mind-boggling amount of detail that went into designing Apple's packaging -- from how air tight the box is to allow a secure feel but not too hard to open, feel of materials, technical composition of the inks used, durability (if I recall they even drop test their packaging), etc.

Apple easily spends millions of USD on their packaging design. Other companies just do not have the resources or the conviction to spend the money and time that Apple spends on their packaging.

That said, I could care less what the packaging looks and feels like. Just give me the product because I'm throwing the packing away after I open it.

Have any of you tried the 7E93 Airpods Pro 2 update? Updated from 7B21 yesterday.

This has to the update with the most noticable change in sound?!
Definately more bass, actually a lot more depth. It's also noticable more "crispy" in the highs (or just more/lighter treble).
Because of the latter, I had to adjust the "Headphone accommodation" under "Accessibility" from Moderate to Slight (Balanced Tone). Maybe Headphone Accomodation OFF is the best now?
And it's actually louder now as well.

But, I don't know if I want to say the SQ is any better because of this. For once they sound a little "loudnessly" (if that's a word :) )

What do you think?

For those who bought a FiiO UTWS5 and had some trouble fitting the IEM into your ears maybe due to length issues (I found many IEM would slip out of my ears when using the UTWS5 out walking). But also the ability to have a securer fit by allowing a recessed 2-pin this is a neat solution:

It is a flat 2-pin to recessed 2-pin adapter and for me this little extention of the length of the "cable" has worked very well:

I'm curious about this too.
I just got mine yesterday. I'm testing them out currently. I previously used the Fokus Pro but upgraded to Prestige. I have tested both the Triuph and Rex 5, and I feel the prestige is still better.

So far, I would say they are pretty comparable to the noble prestige. There are certain aspects that I think the Geekfly Legend 6 wins over the Prestige, but vice versa.

Based on first impressions, the sound stage seems more fuller than prestige. The highs are more transparent; hence, it seems to me a bit sharper. I can't tell any difference between the mids at this point. I believe the lows have a different signature. The Prestige sounds a bit darker, while the Legend 6 doesn't lose out on the lows. It's a higher-pitch thump that is not as dark as the Prestige.

Pardon me for my layman's terms not good with the description.

I wanted to ask the geekily legend 6 users if they have all found any foam tips that are compatible. I see the bore shape is hard to match. It is as long as an IEM, but the bore is shaped like a cone, thin to thick.

So, I used Chat GPT to find the perfect eartips for the Rex5. Look at this post. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/noble-audio-the-wizard-returns.684787/page-2493#post-18636141

I found ear tips I never heard of, and they work great.
