My daily driver ever since I got it. I love how fast it connects to my S24U, haven't had any connection issue, sound is excellent and tuneable via the app, ANC is good, ambiance mode is among the best, battery life is adequate at 6+ hours and call quality is also top tier. 👌
Also, just noticed after the latest update, the bass hits harder than before. I did EQ it to +2, but the weight and slam of the bass can be felt more.

When I had the TE-ZX1-PNK version (which I too liked, especially the size of the soundstage), I found I got really good passive isolation with Dunu S&S tips, so I had quite a good experience in relation to ANC + isolation (but I guess low frequency cancellation was maybe a level below most competitors).

Also, I find that those tips reduce bass and maybe emphasise high (airy type) treble a bit, so they could help push the sound signature the way you want

(They didn't actually help me in this respect, as I had to EQ a bit of extra bass compared to other tips I tried like spinfit w1.)

They are pretty cheap too, maybe $8ish on Ali Express for a pack of S,M,L (only 3 sizes they do) - a bit more from Amazon. If you were thinking of trying these, I'd say the multi size pack would be the better option as I find M sometimes works, and other times L.
I got the Dunu S&S tips, but I cannot get them into the ZX1. The nozzles seem too narrow. They say they fit 4-6mm nozzles. I can't find a version with larger nozzles. Is this user error (I've tried multiple times) or do you have a larger version?

I own 3 higher end TWS, Sony, Jabra and the GB3P is also my favorite. I started to use a modified version of dynamic preset and quite enjoy the vibrancy of the sound. I am at a point where I could probably sell either the Jabra or Sony because the GB3P works best with my S23 Ultra and aside for wind out doors is the best ANC of the 3 for my urban needs. For wind, the Jabra is the best.

I really look forward to the day I can enable the ultra sound quality.

Edit: glad you mentioned the sound after the update... I wasn't sure what if anything changed. But you might be right about the bass as it does seem a bit weightier than before even with my tweaks to the EQ.

There only issue I have come across is BT disconnects from my phone when I go up the elevator in my apartment building. This occurs on every signal BT headphone/earbud I use. And it's only with phone calls.
Bluetooth uses the 2.4Ghz spectrum. Maybe there is a WiFi repeater or booster in the elevator or something else, like poorly shielded wiring or a wifi security camera, that's interfering with the signal (that might have been done to enable people to have wifi access, because a signal may be blocked by the metal elevator). Ask your apartment manager.

Good explanation here: https://www.audio-technica.com/en-u...f-the-week-what-causes-bluetooth-interference

Yup same. There's a couple tweaks I wish they'd make to the controls (eg auto pausing music when you enable transparency ) but amongst all my sets they've quickly become my fave pair with my S23 ultra

Shoot. Sorry. I completely forgot this aspect of using them on the Aviots. They were so tricky to get on the first few times that I remember thinking it wasn't going to happen. After I'd used them on there, maybe just a few days, they had loosened slightly and were easier to remove and add on.

The size that I had used on another set of buds were the first I was able to get on. I then put the unused pair on the other set overnight (XM4s) and then I was able to get them on to the ZX1-PNK nozzles (still with a lot of trying).

I remember thinking something like a knitting needle (that was slightly tapered) would have been useful. But honestly, if I'd remembered how hard they were to get on the first time (maybe a solid 30 mins of tries!), I would have thought twice about making the recommendation, especially as they may slide on (very slightly) easier over metal.

(No special technique - just trying to push the tip on by first "rolling" the lip of the stem around end of the nozzle.)

Thanks for the help. It definitely some kind of radio interference. The weird part of it, it only drops out on phone calls, and near 100% of when go up on the elevator, near 0% when going down, and about 25% of the time when walking by the elevators going to trash/recycler room. My phone, which is connected to the BT TWS/headphones is in my pocket. The quirk, it doesn't really disconnect the BT connection. It disconnects the phone conversation from BT device to the phone. I can to the phone app and switch it back. Some headphones/TWS do better, but not by much.

I do not have this issue is listening to music, podcasts, or video streaming. It is literally the only place where I have this issue. I use the elevator at work, no issue. Other buildings, no issue. In this situation, it's more keeping a connection to the cell service.

My assumption is probably something with the elevator motor.

I have been using the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for a few days now, and I must be honest and say that even though I like them and think the spatial audio elevates them a bit, I still think the Huawei Freeclip are the better purchase, at least for me.

The Huawei Freeclips sound better to me, and I think the call quality is generally better as well, and I think I can hear my surroundings even better with them than the Bose.

There is something with the Bose build/shape that I think potentially hinders some of their potential for me. I think the actual flexible part that loops around the earlobe (-ish) is a bit too short. I can tell that there's a bunch (well, decent amount) of bass when i push them slightly more into the ear or push them up slightly, but the way they fit normally I think they are somewhat lacking in bass and sound a bit... Off.
It could potentially be that other people might get them closer to the ear canals (without going into the ear, of course), so it might be my ears that are to blame as well.

However, I do like the way the Bose earbuds look in comparison to the Freeclip. Despite the Freeclip being a bit more anonymous, they still end up looking more like jewelry than the Bose.

I'm not sure I think the Bose are worth the money either, they should've been like $199-249 from the start I think.
Here where I live they are still an equivalent of like $349-399 which is... Just absurd.

Earfun AP4's had a firmware update other day --- usual bug fixes etc but it does call out "optimized ANC"
Just be careful though -- put them on last night while walking dog and nearly blew out my eardrums --- they seemingly didn't connect to the phone properly or just had an issue but they played a distorted noise through them at what felt like 100% volume
Put them back into the case and on again and they were fine but definitely hurt a bit 1st time
