Of course, my bad. Call quality is of no importance since primary use would be for music listening while commuting. Good BT connectivity is certainly a factor. And I'll be using the earphones with the following DAPs: Shanling M6, Hiby R8 and iBasso DX320. ANC doesn't have to be top of the line, either, but if it can cancel outside noise more effectively than passive isolation from regular IEMs it would certainly be a plus.

So, sound quality will be foremost to me. I am not too fussed about tuning either, but prefer warm, mid-centric sound with good vocal presentation.

If it fits your ears I think the DPP is the best for sound quality.

Also if you're listening on a train the Svanar ANC sound is ruined by most accounts.

DPP ANC is solid and does very little to ruin the frequencies.

Consider its size tho. In my ears I think they look cool and they are pretty comfy.

All that being said, if mids are more important to you than soundstage and the low end maybe a noble or Svanar would be better, just not as unique

I will have the luxury to prove this to myself on Friday. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!!! LOL

Joking aside I fully expect I will be gob smacked by the DPP but not because of its audiophile prowess... In fact I kind of am counting on that...

My favorite IEM at one point was the Sony XBA-Z5. DAMN THAT IEM SOUNDED GOOD! When it was run with the proper chain... I literally used that bad boy for months carrying around my Toblerone shaped PONO player and had that IEM setup with Sony's super duper balanced cable that actually worked with the PONO! Heavenly bliss... Until I swapped cables about 3 times and the #$$%%#$#$ left side stopped working (after the one year warranty...).

OK that last paragraph was un-necessary but just felt good to relive all my pain and suffering... DOH!

OK point being, that damn IEM had the biggest baddest most articulate bass and BIG SOUND experience I had ever heard (still haven't really found anything that compares...). But audiophile it most certainly was not, tonally it made female vocals sound huskier than normal. But while it was not an accurate sound it sure sounded good!!

My hope is the DPP might give me some of that sound back...
🤔🤔Well as I have seen here, the DPP gets more praise than the Svanar Wireless. I will give the Svanar as the top SQ TWS and if your looking for a "Audiophile Tuning". As I own both, I still give it to the DPP in terms of audio immersion and an unrivaled experience.

On the subject of the DPP has anyone determined how much different, if at all, the normal non pro version sounds. Folks on Reddit seems to suggest there was no difference.

I think the non pro version loses the lossless codec and Dirac Virtuo, plus 2hrs more battery life. So if you turn off Dirac Virtuo they might sound the same. I was tempted to buy the cheaper model for the same reasons. But thought I might like Dirac Virtuo.

The DPP does it all for me and especially what I throw at it like music, movies and podcasts. The bass and soundstage are yet to be surpassed by any TWS I have tried. The personalized sound gets you a tuning right to your ears that you will be satisfied with and not having to be one of those that compare different tunings, then having to find what suits your tastes. And man if anyone ever jumps on the Aptx Lossless bandwagon, you will see what I mean by that codec as having the best detail retrieval for music streaming from Tidal.

Keep in mind a $250 TWS and a $600 TWS all have the same basic chip SoC, receiver, some driver variations and all with the same corresponding limitations. The higher the codec frequency, the more limited the range will be. I’m all for advancing the tech, but these prices will take some of the fun out of it for me…

I'm always interested, but man, if they're $600 and the only change is "made out of wood" need to know why I need them besides GAS. Wonder if the wood helps prevent the minor dropouts some of us experience in both the Mystique and Pro... that said, they do look sexy!
They look stunning. Not worth it for me but there may be an audience for these. I wonder if people will be as critical with Noble as they were with HFM given the price and lack of certain features.

All the differences don't matter except for one.

No Spatial Audio.

Some people here prefer without spatial. I think that is what makes it special. It's the soundstage maker and is atleast 50% of the reason I like the DPP

A new upcoming TWS which i never heard of. With two variants Airyoufly1 and Airyoufly2. The 1st one supports LDAC and the 2nd one supports Aptx Lossless. Might be a good direct comparison under the same configuration for me to do 🤔

Are you even if an audiophile if you don't use these words?

anthropomechanical

TWS ophthalmic technology

Magnetoosis Design

The ceramic design on the fly1 looks pretty cool tho.

In isolation the non-Pro sound great, but even without the spatial audio and Lossless, I prefer the Pros. To my ears it is very noticeable. The bass has more texture and everything feels wider. I also think the ANC is better.

The regulars fit a little better though. I wouldn't want to go for a run with the Pros for example, I'd be worried they'd eventually come out, whereas the Perls just disappear into my ear.

In sound quality, Pros every day for me.
