Gotta give them a try for sure. I tend to limit my amazon returns so as to not get my family tossed out of Prime so there's a good chance they'll end up in the classifieds.... but if they don't fit well, I will return them to Amazon just on principle. For any other reason, I probably wouldn't.

Yeah, as someone else already said, this is a TWS thread I did look at them though and with coupons I could have gotten them for 27$, but decided that I really do not need another set

Maybe I am finally healed from the ‘must have latest TWS right now’ bug. Or 41800¥ is just to rich for me. Yes, that’s about the same going by current exchange rates, but as for my local buying power, this feels like 420$ to me … oh! And release date in the home country of Sony is Sept 1! Yeah!

I think so too. I don't need diamontés encrusted into my tws, but I like there to be a 'cool-factor'. These are a bit plain.

Really weird. Mine says sold out.

BB shows pre-order for the black with expected ship date of 7/28 for me. Silver with expected ship date of 8/9. I am in NY.

I do need a new TWS but seem to be the only one not too excited by the XM5s. That is because my Linkbuds already cannot hold a charge for more than a few days (have found the case and buds drained a few times when I really needed them for calls). They just made it past the warranty period. My MTW3 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro have been holding me over for now. May need to reorder the AZ80 (cancelled my original order because B&H was taking too long).

First review I've seen/read that isn't too gushing in praise. Is it just me, or does this make me believe it to be realistic?

Personally, I'll wait for the community to chip in with it's feedback - which I trust more than 'tech' magazine reviews.

I am surprised that they barely mention ANC other than "Not especially impressive noise cancellation." in the Tired section ... that does not bode well ... ah well ... lotsa mula saved I guess .. or next July Prime Day
