Geesh man .. please don't, because you trigger me when you do that.. lolI know a few of you here have them, but can anyone recommend the UM U-Free TWS buds? Worth it or nothing to see here? I've got a wild hair again...

Silver/gray configuration might be the way to go for this generation. Hopefully some AZ80 vs XM5 comparisons soon!

Sorry! On the fence now. Oddly enough, they use part of the same shell as the Galaxy Buds Pro 1 from what I see. See attached. If so, those are tough to get a good fit at times.Geesh man .. please don't, because you trigger me when you do that.. lol

I prefer the ZE8000 (sound, app and fit). UM has good tuning but are big and lack of app kinds is a bummerI know a few of you here have them, but can anyone recommend the UM U-Free TWS buds? Worth it or nothing to see here? I've got a wild hair again...

Looks like I can dl the app on my iPhone. Guessing you're Android. You think the app would make a difference or are these a pass? I have the 3ANC and prefer the fit etc over the Finals, but the Finals did sound great. Maybe I just answered my own question.I prefer the ZE8000 (sound, app and fit). Looks similar but the contacts are in different spots. So not exactly the same part.

We're splitting hairs . Never said exact! But I'm not biting on them. @darveniza's reply convinced me to move on. Whew. On to the next obsession.Looks similar but the contacts are in different spots. So not exactly the same part.
On Android, that is correct. Overall when I am looking at TWS the app is essential, is almost like the cable with hardwired IEM's it becomes a key component. Features as ANC, Transparency Mode and call quality become also part of the equation of value per $. Sadly on my day to day, do listen to music but also have to field work calls, wife's or watch YouTube and as such TWS versatility is a must.Looks like I can dl the app on my iPhone. A few weeks ago the Anker liberty 4 really convinced me that it was a good option to upgrade from the Buds2 Pro ..
But for a full week, I am using the EAH-AZ80, and, actually, it's again a real step in sound quality... So, I am waiting for the 1000XM5, as i am almost sure it will be a new step, with this time tiny enough to get a better fit in the ears for sleeping with them. So Sony should be probably the best option for android users with the best ratio with Sound Quality/Comfort/Playing time in one charge...
I am still wondering if Hifiman with their Svanar TWS can manage to be significantly better for sound quality for android users (LDAC) than Sony & Technics and still be comfortable enough to be used (decent ANC, enough Playing Time, small enough to fit in the ear) ?
