I have to say hearing the news of George Michael's passing this morning (26th Dec) has really gotten me down. I've been an avid fan of him as a solo artist and when he was with Wham!. This Christmas was his last.

Im from Miami and back in the 80s my uncle had a studio that created props for videos (Commercials, movies, music videos). My uncle mention he was making a video with a guy named Michael George. Well I went by my uncles studio and they were filming the bedroom sceen with the singer in his underware. I was really in the music sceen but I was not aware who this guy was, it was done before he was big. Months later I realized Michael George was George Michael and that bed room scene was for his Careless Whispers video. He was very quiet and professional between the takes.

RIP. A gifted song writer and artist. Singing your songs in karaoke won't feel the same.
