Gavin just sent an email via LHL to backers on the design of the amp!

It looks cool interesting...a good departure from most tube amps that it doesn't have tubes sticking out, but not sure how the design/fascia complement the Pulse DAC. The digital(?) knob is at the opposite side to the DAC if you stack them.

I'm already thinking of modding it with a metal screen in the glass part to cut down on RF :)

Still don't care for a 3.5mm socket...unless that is TRRS--I could go for that.

[edit: based on further observations of the pictures]

You broke the circle of trust.  Now you must leave the island ;)

So since the volume attenuation is purely analog how do they measure the dB value to display on the volume wheel? Is there a sensor behind the wheel that tells the display its position relative to 0dB and then that information is shown on the display?

Details, details Brian!

Great question actually.

It could be a digitally controlled analog volume control. My Emotiva dc-1 has this and it is great. I believe that there is much better channel balance with these.

I would just hope that they can make sure that volume memory works correctly.

Does anyone know if this has pre amp outputs?

Was hoping that it has similar design and dimensions to the geek pulse, so that I can stack them

In case you were curious or haven't seen it yet...here it is in all of its glory
