Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

There's nothing wrong with these at all. They sound fantastic, but are a bit boosted in the bass compared to what I'm used to. These are worth spending time with. I'm just wishy washy and used to my HD 600's. :)

Give them time. Listen only to the Ebony's, and you'll adjust. Their bass is really great, one of the best you can get. Their value won't drop much more.

You may just not like them, and there's nothing won't with that. Expensive doesn't equal great to anyone. Hope you like them

They might drive them fine but to get maximum sound definition the Ebonys are rated for 1.8w. My MJ2 that I had powered them nicely and when I added the R2R 11 dac it really brought them to life.

Note: when I first got them they were my most hated cans also.

Aloha Peeps :)

Hope you are all OK and that 2018 is a fantastic year for family, friends and enjoying the music that we do!!

In need of help as have been looking everywhere for the dimensions of the Purpleheart headphones as I am taking them with me on travels and they will a rugged need a case, so now will ensure all my headphones fit before buying it so the box is good for taking any of headphones anywhere.

Hope that makes sense. For the IP67 case, I have found this website so far which looks good? (https://maxstorerite.co.uk) If you know of ANY that are better in terms of packing, overall quality please let me know. I am tempted by the shock & awe orange colour at the moment! Be hard to miss it or forget to pick up lol. Am sure black will prevail :)

Your help is most appreciated as I have been looking all over.

Thank you :)

I don't know where you are located but I bought the small watertight case from Harbor Freight for my ifi iCAN SE and it's great quality for the price. I think the large one would fit almost every headphone. It's pick and pull foam so you can customize the fit easily. https://www.harborfreight.com/3800-watertight-protective-case-16-516-in-63927.html
