A Sennheiser hd650 would fix that for you. I find amp differences quite tiny. Most are pretty flat and differences small.
Well agooh seems to own all the very best headphones, and wants to get rid of them immediately in favor of much crappier headphones, in a manner that ignites intense debate among the headphiles.
Same in LCD3 and HD800 threads.
The value of opinion of a person with two hours experience of the HD800 who makes such a judgement is a lot less than that of most of the regulars in the HD800 thread, of whom in many cases have lived with them for years on a variety of equipment. That said, if you rate the T1 above both the HD800 and the Th900 after 2 hours or 2 years of listening, you have bad hearing and bad taste, subjectivity be damned.

well I'm sure T1( less than 800 $ ) is always above hd 800 if you live with them . th900 is good but overprice put her in last place . it's facts, not about my ears or anything else .
you can talk about Hd800 soulless sound which many guys sold them after only 2 hours , Lcd3 Fazor is the best headphones to enjoy music, but comfort is bad that's put a ? mark on headphones above 1500 $, still better than any dynamic headphones.
009 sound amazing but cost a lot
and for mid headphones like philips X 2 to beat high end fostex th900 is real if you own both of them .
So ranking will be :009>LCD 3 F > T1 >hd800>X2>....you know what's here right !! TH 900 .

Agooh, thank you for sharing us your honest impression. Could you tell us about your music preference?
I have a strong feeling that if you enjoy T1's sound signature and X2'x soundstage, K812 might be your ultimate favorite.
As to all the flagships, I would rank TH900 = HD800 > LCD3 > T1 = K812
And I understand at this price point, headphones is just a way to match your music preference to what you want it to sounds like, for example:
Pick TH900 if you enjoy powerful bass and crispy highs, but do not listen to lots of vocal. (In fact, I simply enjoy the singer standing behind the rock band. Idk, it just works for me.)
Pick HD800 if you enjoy vast sound stage and accurate imaging.
Pick LCD3 if you listen to lots of vocals, and enjoy iems like 846.
Pick T1 or K812 if you enjoy a monitor-like sound signature: slightly less bass, just right on everything, but nothing exaggerated to impress certain people.
