got HD650 it is really good for what i need yet one big problem is they do leak the sound that even the one who is outside the room can hear it, i listen to music on the PC with 52% vol and even the player is 50% too! and the amp/dac less than 50% still this massive leakage.
 
will the TH900 solve this problem? also from reading i know that the TH900 will serve my need of music so for now i need to know about the leaking level.
 

 
The TH-900 have a closed back but they still leak a little bit of sound because they have a vent/gap around the cup which lets air in and out.

wow i just saw the new Senn Momentum but i also saw that it is Warm, What is the best Bright-closed HP out there? or should i wait for the TH600, dont mind paying 400$ for new HP that will provide me with what i need next week. while waiting for the T600

Right now I just can think about ED8 for your need, they still leaked a bit though.
 
The best high quality cans that has the least leak I ever know is Sony Z1000. (Though I worried whether it's bright enough or not for you)
 
Another option, perhaps the newest ULS Signature DJ can suit your need too, but I need to hear them myself to confirm it. (hopefully this week)

The TH900 and HD800 are very different headphones, in fact I consider them as antithesis of each other.
 
In terms of sheer technicalities, no dynamic headphone beats the HD800. It is the pinnacle of neutrality, clarity, imaging and soundstage, rivaled only by top-of-the-line electrostats such as SR-009. However, the HD800 can sound cold and analytic, and somewhat lifeless depending on what you listen to. It is by no means a fun-sounding headphone, and doesn't work well with fast-paced genres due to its relative lack of PRaT.
 
The TH900 has a rolled-off mid that gives it a V-shaped frequency curve, so it's not as neutral as HD800 and somewhat colored. It has a wide soundstage for a closed headphone, but nowhere as wide as that of the HD800. However, the TH900 is a fun-sounding headphone, in my opinion more euphonic and musical compared to the HD800. Unlike the HD800, you can enjoy virtually all genres with the TH900 to great satisfaction. The TH900 also boasts great bass quantity and quality, the best bass I've heard in a headphone next to the LCD-3.
 
If you listen primarily to classic, jazz, acoustics and vocals, I recommend the HD800. But if you listen to a broader range of genres, and especially rock or electronica, go for the TH900 and you can't go wrong. In fact, I think owning both headphones will complement each other's weaknesses.

I'd say both headphones are great for all genres and that the HD800 probably has the edge in prat due to it being the faster and cleaner headphone. People enjoy the HD800 with rock and electronica (like me and Morbidtoaster) and people with TH900 enjoy them with classical and jazz.

LoL, I must be backwards...I prefer the HD-800s with classical and jazz and the TH-900s for rock. (I don't listen to electronica...synthetic music I say

Funny, I got the HD800s and like them, then the Th900s and others convinced me they were better, but then I keep coming back to the HD800s for their honesty in the long run.
The HD800s have stood the test of time and were not just a fling, seeming to have the least coloration or euphony or  easily identifiable signature like,the Fostexes or, say, Audeze.
So I keep reaching for the Sennheisers for truth-in-sound, as a matter of trust, and of course, musical enjoyment.
I'm hearing the real thing, with no surprises.

I spent a couple hours listening to both out of the same amp, with a collection of genres, and came to exactly the same conclusion as Songmic. The Fostex sound is what I preferred because I'm looking for one headphone to enjoy all the types of music I listen to.

I enjoy classical music and vocal on T1 due to the big sound stage, I tried to listen to some vocal on TH900 It feels like she's singing to your ear but still sound stage Is bigger than other cans I tried (ED8/HD700).. I think HD800 Is a must In this case

I'm somewhat more like you (although not with the HD-800s). I prefer classical and Jazz with my SR-009s and pop/rock with the TH-900s for a little more 'fun'.

009's are the most addictive fun I have ever had with headphones. I guess boom boom pow with no detail is fun for some but the 009's hit my ears where so many songs detail and staging are like wow I never knew this song sounded like this.

Except the TH-900s are boom boom pow + a whole lot of details at the same time. It's part of their magic. Fun AND detailed AND technically proficient.

I picked the HD800 for Electronic music over the LCD 2s due to their detail and sound stage. I really think Electronic music (especially BT and Ambient (and Future Garage) music in general) shines with good sound staging.
